Tachelle Bowen awww good luck!!! I’m sure you’ll be great. Just remember, they’ve picked YOU! Out of so many people they’ve seen something in you. Many people would have been rejected :( which is sad. But take that as you’re brilliant and go shine today! 🌟🌟🌟

I'm planning to submit my application for adult nursing for 2021, This really helps! I'm worried i wont get onto the course due to me only having level 3 NVQ health and social care and 6 years of senior/team lead experience! i hope this is enough but will see! i'm so excited !
James Pearce Every uni is different. Some will accept it and others won’t. I needed to do the access course with mine , they wouldn’t accept my NVQ 3 and years of care work :( xx

Just be yourself, sell yourself! Show how amazing you are and why they should take you. But also remember, they want YOU! They’ve rejected so many people but they saw something in YOU :) go get em! 🌟🌟 xx
I wish I had seen this before my interview! I only forgot one of the six Cs but got it in the end and the interviewers put me at ease by saying they always forget one of them and its a different one each time! So that made me feel better. The numeracy test I did really bad on, I got 7/12 but it was the fractions/percentage questions that I got wrong and one multiplication with decimals. The literacy test I got 15/15, it would have been embarrassing if I hadn't as I'm doing A-Level English Lang/Lit. In the interview, the last question was like "Why would you be a good nurse" or something like that. I responded by saying, "Firstly, I'm a really, really, really, really caring person." Like, why did I say really so many times? This was at BCU. But literally, as soon as I got to the Seacole building, the fire alarm went off! Agghh!

I’m awful at fractions don’t worry! I found the drug calculations so much easier than that one. So glad you passed the English hahaha! That would be bad. I heard they have cut the maths and English test now from the interviews :)
The interviewers made feel at ease too. They were really lovely ❤️ x

I have an Interview for Adult Nursing on Thursday, obviously because of the pandemic, it’s virtual. Been going over standard questions, NMC CoC and NHS Constitution. So nervous

@@lillyray802@Megan it went well, thanks. We talked casually, she only asked 4 questions. I'd say it was an easy interview. And she reaasured me that I did great, now waiting for an offer of some sort. Also I have another interview on the 21st of December.

I had an interview today. Studied the 6c’s religiously. Didn’t get asked once 😢
Aww, that's a shame, but hopefully you smashed the interview!! :D They don't always ask the same questions, I can only go by what I have experience, and what other people have said about different unis. If they don't ask, they don't ask, hopefully you prepare well for the rest of the questions and not just one topic :D x
I am just wondering if you have any ideas on what a levels to take if i want to become a student nurse. :)
wayne watton do your A-levels, or the access to HE diploma at college ☺️ and get applying to the university for nursing once you’ve got those? If you already have those, then just apply now through UCAS :) I hope that helps x

This is from my uni website: GCE A/A2 Level
120 UCAS points from a maximum of three A/A2 Level passes, which must include one of Health and Social Care, Human Biology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Science, Psychology or Social Science at Grade B. A typical offer would be BBB.

Just go onto any uni you want to apply to and look at ‘entry requirement’ ☺️

Fahiza Begum Aw you’ll be fine! Remember, they chose YOU out of all of those people. They saw something in you. I’ve seen people get turned away without an interview. So you must have something they like and want :) believe in yourself! 🌟💕 x

Estelle 20x It’s only the standard type questions don’t panic. ‘Why you want to nurse’ ‘how you cope under pressure’ ‘how you’ll balance workload’ know the 6Cs and examples of them. Then scenario based questions such as ‘what you’ll do with an angry patient?’ Xx
