How to set up your flexible shaft and drain cleaning chain kit

- These kits are used for blockage removal and descaling of small diameter pipes, such as shower and basin drain pipes, or any smaller pipework with multiple bends and junctions.
The tool is lightweight and compact, so it can easily fit into a toolbox, and is set up in seconds, because you only need to attach it to your drill, and you are ready to go.
Most clients report that they use this kit on day-to-day toilet blockages because the shaft is covered with a chemical and heat resistant sleeve which prevents damage to porcelain, so there is no need to remove a toilet pan in order to reach a soft blockage in the toilet waste line in close proximity to the toilet.

6mm flexible shaft with sleeve friction rings
A drill to shaft adapter to connect the flexible shaft to your power drill
Mini Chain 40-50 mm pipe 6mm (1/4") flex shaft
Lightweight Plain Chain (NO Drill head) 32mm/1.3" for 6mm (1/4") Shaft, ( 1 chain - 3.5mm)
Lightweight Plain Chain (NO Drill head) 50mm/2" for 6mm (1/4") Shaft, (2 chains - 3,5mm)
The 6mm (1/4") shaft included in this kit is our most flexible shaft, and yet it does not compromise on rigidity. We have made certain changes and added friction rings to the flexible shaft's sleeve to protect the ends from being damaged. The friction rings on each end also prevent dirt from building up between the shaft and the sleeve, as this would reduce the efficiency and longevity of the tool.

Feel free to choose between a corded or a cordless drill, but make sure not to use the hammer action function on the drill because it can cause damage to your shaft.
With a flexible shaft you will be using less than 3% of the water you would need to get the same result with a hydro jetting machine. Imagine the amount of water you will save by using a flexible shaft.

Important note: We manufacture our own brand of shafts, and by chance our clients started adapting them to their Ridgid K102 or K204 sewer cleaning machines. They also informed us that our flexible shafts are a bit more rigid than the Ridgid flexshafts. We do not claim that we have a replacement shaft for a Ridgid Flexshaft.
I am looking for a way to cute through palm tree roots in a 3" poly pipe. I like idea of flex pipe but really need some kind of cutting drill on the front but something to keep the drill centered so it does not cut into the soft side of the poly pipe. Any option for that?
I recommend the plain chain knocker with a drill head and without hard metal tips.

This is made specifically for PVC. Be cautious when using this tool though because the centrifugal force will hold the chain centre, but when the shaft spins through a PVC corner (elbow) the drill head would damage the PVC. Only engage the engine when the shaft is in a straight section of pipe.
