@@WarriorTier Not gonna lie. Your last few videos (outside of Tzeentch and Trazyn, which had outside narrators) were starting to get repetitive. It might just be me but your accent and intonation seemed to have hit its limit to the point that it was starting to get boring. You hit something different with this video though.

What are the alternatives to the Tau Empire? .... the only better option is living in some remote planet and hope you aren´t found. The WH universe doesn´t have nice things.

If the Robopocalypse in the (Dark) Age of Technology had never happened, mankind would probably still be working with the many other races in the galaxy.
I feel sorry for the Tau, because they have the optimism that humanity had in ages past -- and it will all fall apart. Come the year 50,000, they may be EXACTLY like the Imperium.

Yeah... The cybernetic revolt coupled with the Age of Strife pretty much killed any chance of wider humanity trusting any thing or any one else to not stab it in the back somehow.
In one of the Horus Heresy books, Jaghatai Khan and Malcador have a interesting argument about Old Night and the Imperial Truth.
Nah their fall will be sooner, just wait until some Tau finds the truth like Farsight, but unlike him, they instead of making a whole new group por freedom and peace, they just make Horus Heresy 2.0 blue fish edition
The age of strife was because they were a jerk to their machines. The Votaan have shown us that the Humans could have kept their men of iron, they just needed to be decent.

Genuinely a video that makes you tear up, some of the most effective propaganda I've ever seen. Combined with how much truth the water caste really have as Ammo here & the like, if I saw this in universe?
I'm sold instantly, hell still even knowing about the Etheral's & the caste stuff, if even a quarter of the stuff the propaganda video says is true then yeah I'd live within the T'au Empire.

I generally prefer some of the older Etheral lore, but still love me some T'au.

For what I've heard, most of the Etherals are not even aware of their own psychics powers and genuinely believe that their subjects join them out of pure conviction. One of them even claimed to be disgusted by the ease with which they manage to bring new species into their fold.
It's not a quarter true. It's all lies. The tau will do nothing but brainwash you and leave you sterilized and scraping in the dirt, cutting your immortal soul off from the transcendent glory of the God Emperors protection.

Honestly, the Tau to me are a tragic result of the Great Crusade's "Kill ALL Xenos" policy never being dialled down. Hell, before his fall, Horus even considered, even hoped, to spare certain civilisations as client world (Until Fucking Erebus ruined everything.)
Because the Tau are possibly the only other race we could live in peace with. Hell, we have most of the same enemies.

the imperium is founded upon that purge mindset, as is manifest destiny even back then in the crusades. Every high mind of humanity including the emperor of man had disdain for xenos and in the emperors case it had to have been very severe, or he's just very based and bigoted either way, the imperium as if would never have worked with 'allies'.
No as the Tau are expanisionist too and demand everyone follow their "greater good". Eldar are the only species that can be spared as they are more isolationist and can be left alone and are more focused on fighting Slaanesh

As a Tau Player, I love this. My miniature army is a lot of human and alien auxiliaries I run as strike teams, and I kit-bashed skeven as kroot. The human frontier planet the Tau dreams of is kinda the lore I have for my army. Excited to try them out in 10th edition.

Very nice touch at the end - I was hoping for the twist and was not disappointed. In WH40K, if something seems too good to be true - it's because it probably is. The Tau are perfect exemplars of the notion that "not all is well in Paradise" and the only reason they seem so appealing on the surface is because that is the their entire schtick.

In the setting of 40K, even the Ethereals are still good guys. Even if the worst rumors are true, let me ask you a question. What happens on a imperial world when you talk foul of your golden overlord? Death? Torture? Flagellation? Unimaginable suffering as a penitent engine? Maybe the destruction of your village if they took food the water caste gave them. Maybe the destruction of your whole planet if you had the misfortune to be “saved” by Grey Knights. At least the Tau try to fix you, try to give you a good life, whether you want it or not. In any other setting we could be the main villains, but in 40K? We are the greatest good.
It's annoyed GW originally did intend for the Tau to be the good guys. But grimdorkcels from other factions can't handle it so weak ass GW changed the narrative.

The music and amplification in these videos is so rich, it's incredibly enjoyable. Space Marine motivations double as workout videos, and somehow so many of these videos help with writing tasks or admin work.

It might be a bit much to ask, but have you done or considered any work done with the Farsight Enclaves? Perhaps as a rebuttal to some of the statements made in here, perhaps as a way to talk about how things can differ in the position depending on who you talk to in the Tau?

Great. Now I started a Tau army.
At first I wasn't a big fan of the Tau. But now I really like them, the only diplomatic faction in Warhammer 40k and the Fire Warrior game how they made a truce with the Imperium working together against the Chaos. My favorites are The Imperium, Chaos, Necrons and Taus.

@davidgreen3001 so the tau captured a raven guard marine and wanted to see if they could make him change sides because you know it's a super soldier. To do that, they employed the help of a psychic capable worm tipe xeno to try and break the marines' mind, but the worms kept dying because the marines mind was too strong, and the worms were using too much psychic power and the Tau just kept bringing more and more worms that just kept on dying until the space marine just up and dies from all the psychic stress
