There is a fan theory that people are totally misinterpreting the Tyranids focus on conquering Baal. They don't want revenge on the Blood Angels, they want the last of Sanguinius's blood to be added to the Swarm. Only known example of genetics enhanced by the Warp but not corrupted by it.
Now we know Sanguinius destroyed Angron in the siege of Terra! He truly went above and beyond and took on major demons and a chaos angron, and even went to fight horus and damaging his armor even though he knew his fate. Unlike the other weak traitor primarchs he did not betray the imperium. I believe Sanguinius would have become the next Emperor when and if the current Emperor decided to move on.
He indeed became the new emperor of men... guilliman and the lion appointed it to him... or should I say force it on him.

I read the horus heresy articles in the early games workshop magazines in the 90's and just recognised Sanguinius sacrafice for the emperor that made him the greatest primarch in my mind at age 10 and was a blood angels fan since then , but this narration just solidifies that belief. Its like if Lucifer hadnt turned against god , his greatest son and instead fought the forces of evil , sort of like that in a religious sense. Sanguinius truly was the angel of the emperor of mankind. I really wish Sanguinius didnt die as he truly was a force to reckon with even the forces of chaos recognised his power. If he handnt been wounded fighting the greater daemon he would have bested Horus and saved the emperor from his fatal wounding. The future would be slightly brighter thanks to the shining light of the Angel Sanguinius

I'm a fan of the theory that Sanguinius actually killed Horus, but when The Emperor came to the bridge, he found The Angel taken by rage and had to slay him. He obliterated Horus's soul in order to keep this secret from The Imperium, who loved The Angel.
Better yet, once Horus was slain the Chaos Gods possessed Sanguinius who went on to battle the Emperor who was wounded unto death fighting his most beloved son…
I love that theory. One so beloved unable to control his bloodlust and killing his father he swore to serve. But he was so loved and loyal history was rewritten to protect him. Or was misunderstood as the only ones who actually saw it gap were dead or dying.
Sadly that theory has been confirmed to be untrue with the newest books

Great video! My only criticism is that Sanguinus's legion already existed, The Revenant Legion, named by Malcador. Sanguinius met his legion on Teghar. He knelt before the legion in the rain and mud to offer them his allegiance.
That and he whooped Angron ;)

I would like to point out that these illustrations are second to none. I have no idea what the hell this is but damn, these are fine illustrations. Kudos to all that created this. Well done. The emperor would be pleased.
the greatest of them all. i really like this narration style, it sounds like you fed an AI a bunch of rogue trader lore and the fear to tread novel, it makes it sound like a legend being told around a campfire rather than an in-universe OC laid over an omniscient lore video, sorta like oculus imperia

One of my favorite chapters after friends explained to me while we were playing Deathwatch. I ended up playing a Blood Angel medic. Just the idea of a space vampire medic was amusing to me.
Your storytelling is like an old sage telling the lore of the rpg game as an intro.
