Its all a fantasy in the mind of the killer.
The "lion" is whoever is holding the gun.
The gun does the "eating", and the "hunger" is greed.
In the end, the greed values the money/power over the life ... and proceeds to gather one, and waste the other.
The moral of the story: is that the lion does not reason, man does. The lion has good reason to eat, while the man does not.The lion takes only what it needs to satisfy hunger; whereas, the man can never satisfy his hunger.

the gravity of which henry golding delivers the lines lead me to believe he had a bigger part to play than to be suddenly executed during an arguement.
1:00 henrys use of voice is sober, sturdy and eloquent. and by his every change of tone, it's as if he turned his lines into music. quite artistic. very good.
