wheres the logic behind them beeping out the F-word but shows a scene of him shooting and killing two guys, I just don't understand that
To quote the South Park movie: "Horrific, Deplorable violence is okay, as long as people don't say any naughty woids! That's what this war is all about!"
*In Endgame they show several guys being stabbed, one woman death from a bigass fall, and even a beheading (Of an alien) but because they didn't spill much blood they get a PG13 rating but in Venom they couldn't show eating a thief head*
Cable-TV-itis..
Language can be readily learned and used by a 4 year old. Getting a gun and murdering 2 individuals is not. Duh..
@@incipidsigninsetup *A bad word can be forgotten by a 4 years old, but the impression of violence can get stuck in their heads for al their life, duh*
God its the facial expressions of Charlie Hunnam that sells this scene, the look of disbelief at what he's hearing, knowing that man just signed off on his own death.
Yh cool to see it
I agree.
That's right. This scene is a masterpiece! Word, by word... Each second going slowly to disaster: when the lions... 👌🏻
That last bit of your comment suggests you haven't actually watched this movie.
This scene is a daydream. Mickey decides to _not_ do this to Dry Eye.
But gets him in the end anyway😂
When the lion’s hungry, HE YEETS!
Well Dry Eye's balls were treated thats for sure
😭
YEET!
Yeeted his soul off this mortal coil
Guy Ritchie should really quit doing big studio films, this is the stuff he’s made for, and the legendary movies he’ll be remembered for.
Billy West Yeah, notice that when the studio leash is off and he can do what he wants with an original story, it usually turns out either really good or awesome.
His Sherlock Holmes movies aren't bad tbf.
I'm pretty sure he did Aladdin for funding
@Billy West I don't know, I loved King Arthur, Man From UNCLE and Sherlock Holmes Holmes movies. Despite being big studio movies, they still contained his unique style. Now, Aladdin was bad, but that's because he clearly barely had any creative freedom.
He made Alladin and in exchange Disney bankrolled this. I see this as an absolute win.
Not gonna lie, when I heard that line about the lion being hungry in the trailer I thought it was corny, but it's pretty badass when you actually watch the scene.
I'm so glad Ritchy made this movie. Getting back to his roots after this Aladdin nonsense seems right.
I saw the movie I get it.

The first time i watched this movie i was high af,didn't remember a single scene from it,but i knew i liked it so then i watched it again (sober) and loved it,then i watched it again with a friend (high) and loved it even more :D
Ive seen two clips where he kills the same guy, how is that possible?
@@BlackBinderGames This scene is just Fletcher's imagination being shown - it's not actually part of the story.
@@iainmacrae6982 Thank you, that drove me crazy.
This is a great film, and I enjoyed it, but man it still didn't make sense. Lots of plot holes but if I enjoyed the film, that's what matters.
Good thing they censored the curse words, so that the five year olds who were excited for the movie didn’t get their ears contaminated.

Fairly certain it was 1 billion if you count the commas.
"There's only one rule in this jungle, when the lion's hungry, he eats!" Matthew has never been that vicious.
No one has ever handed him a script with those words before.
Sooo ... its mostly about the writer.
Yeah, but when he goes off, he really goes off! Like when you throw a grenade into a crate of grenades!
You should watch Killer Joe, he makes the guy he plays in this movie look mellow.
Idiocracy LARPer that is exactly what I was thinking!
he gets pretty vicious in some parts of true detective
Going from calm to sinister in just a heartbeat. Exactly why I love McConaughey's work
If Dry-eye were smarter he would have heard his intentions right from the start. Tells him not to waste his "precious" breath and that it wasn't on the table. Basically he wasn't long for this world and there was no negotiating it.
“Unlike the salt and pepper it’s not on the table”
I don't know why but I just love that line
Ma Ar agreed.
Only good line
That line was the prediction, that a "shake down" was about to occur.
@@marshalllhiepler Yes, I always shake down by steak with salt and pepper.
Good thing they bleeped those scary words. They would have distracted me from the violent murders underway on the screen.
Charlie Hunnam’s reactions are great here- he hears the clicking of the calculator, and he slightly turns his head, then he hears the “out of touch” remark and he knows that’s bad, then the “silverback” now he KNOWS something is coming, and finally just getting up and crossing his arms. Perfect compliment to McConaughy’s slow burn then boom!!
A return to form for Richie, the dialogue was perfect, the cast blew me away, who'd have thought Hugh Grant would not only be in a Guy Richie film but also be great in it too?
"Aawwwe, don't be cVnty."
That was a very British ism!
Anyone who'd seen 'The Man from UNCLE'.
I hated Hugh Grant. If I saw his name on a film, I passed. HE WAS FANTASTIC in this. Go figure.

When the lions hungry... He eats..
Literal shivers.. Every time..
Its all a fantasy in the mind of the killer.
The "lion" is whoever is holding the gun.
The gun does the "eating", and the "hunger" is greed.
In the end, the greed values the money/power over the life ... and proceeds to gather one, and waste the other.
The moral of the story: is that the lion does not reason, man does. The lion has good reason to eat, while the man does not.The lion takes only what it needs to satisfy hunger; whereas, the man can never satisfy his hunger.
Believe me ... I am not lion.
@@marshalllhiepler wow man, does are great words, im impress.
That's crazy to me. Male lions don't hunt as well as female. And the line sounds like its written by a young kid, or in an appeal to teenagers.
Charlie Hunnam didn’t have a single line of dialogue, but he just FILLED the room with a look alone. Love him as an actor.
Yea I think he has a minor rep for not producing at the box office but I always like his work

"Eyes not so dry now, are they?" makes me laugh every time :D
The way he bears his teeth like a lion when he says "when the lions hungry, he eats" is a really nice touch.
"When the lion is hungery he eats"
Thats a badass line.
This was brilliant. McConaughey, Farrell and Grant were all top notch in it.
What about Charlie? Lol
@@fu7902 exactly charlee is underrated he's only known for sons of anarchy to the mass
Farrell was brilliant, funny, laughing, dark side, all usually in the same sentance.
I love how Charlie Hunnam making a move while number is being typed. Gives me the sense that he is counting zeros and knows the number without looking at it :)
I wonder what the number was? It was worth like 400,000,000 right. A few zeroes short? Did dry-eye offer like 9 million at most? That seems bizarre. Like me walking into a dealership and offering 800 dollars for a new f-150
This is an immediately classic line. Mr. McConnaghey has emerged into quite the actor who can play roles many ways.
Oscar winners generally do that .
This was Guy Ritchie going back to his roots and I loved it.
Gotta love Matthew. He gets better and better as he ages.
Saw this movie today and it is by far and away the best that Guy Richie has made so far. From the script to the acting it is worth your two hours in a theatre. IMO Hugh Grant was simply amazing. He really came across as a total slimeball, what a change of pace from the normal characters he has played before. I liked it so much I am planning on see it again this weekend because I know I missed some amazing dialogue.
Indeed , I'm not a fan of Hugh Grant as a rule but in this he was awesome. His best acting yet.
Bro we need a show outta this and they're gonna make it!
I have never even heard of this movie, but this was one of the more terrifying displays of power in a movie scene I can remember. I dont know what the plot is, but that guy is DEFINITELY in charge of it.
It’s amazing, watch it

Man I loved this movie. So many great moments between Hunnam, McConaughey, and Ferrell. My favorite thing about it though - was the suits. Classy AF. Wish I could pull something like that off.
This is quite a fun movie. I loved the set design, casting and story. The costumes were incredible.
Henry Golding continues to be one of the best new comers we have.
He is going to be "Snake Eyes"
Beautiful isn't it. Redfield.
I thought Henry was the main antagonist of the movie till now. But guess I was wrong, would been happy to find this out while watching the movie though.

"When the lion's hungry, he eats" Best quote ever!
it's less the line and more the delivery for me. The intensity after he shoots the gun at the end really sets that whole scene off.
I'm gonna guess this is Matthew Mcconaughey's character imagining things during the conversation.
Nope
Close
Kinda, but it wasn’t him imagining it. It was part of a story which was told as a lie to test the knowledge of something geezer trying to blackmail them.

I heard 17 keyboard taps, unless any of those were deletes, that was more than a trillion dollars lol
There could be a decimal point somewhere in those taps.
Or he was multiplying some numbers
I counted 19 which with a decimal at the lowest is 1 quintillion, but I like to think that he erased a few numbers to replace others, like going from 500,000,000 to 1,000,000,000
