Hello? That's a mockery in Vietnamese racism even I am not gonna say stop it. "Phuc" in Vietnamese name meaning stands for Luck in good fortune and Happiness. Even though I am Vietnamese I use to have a last name that was supposed to be forever as Pham. My name fully was Hai Pham. People normally would say Pham as the word with my name as Hi Fam. But it's Pronounced Fahm.
Oh and also, I wish Vietnamese people can't be villains in these kinds of movies, additionally like the guy who played as Short Round when he was a kid in Indiana Jones who recently has an Oscar.

What I loved about this scene, besides the dialogue and the mispronunciations, is how actually old-school gangster this scene is. The hat in hand, the apologizing for the "headache" and the coming with a gift as part of the apology. No bullshit bravado shit, no tough talk - just straight gangster shit.

The in-laws were visiting recently and I cut my finger in the kitchen followed by the excited exclamation of "Phuc!". My wife gives me the pretentious dressing down (in front of the in-laws) when I say " Spelled with a 'P', it's Vietnamese!" Her old man is a Vietnam vet and laughed till he cried. Thanks Guy and Colin for the bro backup!

Watched this movie for the first time a month ago. And again this week. Its just so good. And Colin Farrel is just first class acting throughout.
Colin Farrell did a great acting job amongst other great acting jobs in this movie. Guy sure knows how to blend comedy with violence
Has to be one of the best scenes from any guy ritchie film,farrel is like a fine wine,certainly got better with age.

This was such a good movie. I really enjoyed it. There was another one in what i consider the same gendra called Rock and Rolla. It was areally good as well.
Maybe not quite the masterpieces as Snatch or Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels but right up there with RocknRolla nipping at the heels of great gangster yarns.
