This is the SICKEST arrangement I have ever heard!!!! I don’t know who wrote this but every single musician on this was on POINT!! My hat is off on the floor!! I threw it the first time I listened to this. Sput!! Amazing! M. Guilliana!! Amazing!!! I need all these on an album!! I’d pay for that!!!

been watching this non-stop. the best drumming i've ever seen. such a beautiful inspired way to play, just in another universe to anyone else
You know we all have opinions about everything but lets just celebrate the uniqueness of every drummer that plays. Music isnt subjective, it is personal interpretation. We wont see things alike, but every drummer is unique in his/her own right. Lets celebrate and enjoy what everyone brings to the table. This dude was a beast and it was my first time hearing him. Definitely looking at everything he has NOW!!!
Mark is an awesome drummer. Along similar lines, check out Nate Wood and Arthur Hnatek.

So Musical, really plays with the band, who are really enjoying it, and who sound amazing. It's like he really trusts the music. Really exciting. Every time I hear it, it sounds amazing !!!

I've come back to watching this particular performance a lot cause it's so different than what's expected in vfjams' videos. What i've picked up on is Mark is listening to the QUIETEST parts of the ensemble and playing to each of them. I just love that. If you listen to Sput's synth, the guy with the Dave Smith, and the hand drums and whatnot you can pick up Mark's accompaniment to them throughout the track. So interesting.
Mark blows my mind just about every time I hear him play. Hearing him play with this band was something else.

His motif development is astounding, and his creativity lurks in seemingly free areas. This piece also begins with a three-note ostinato and ends with three big accents on the floor tom and cymbals.
