    Love the fact that you posted these videos about the failure in order to maintain 100% transparency to current and future customers. This type of honesty and confidence in your product deserves props. I am glad (unfortunately) that it was installer error to set everyone's mind at ease that it is not the lithium cells but instead just installation error. This video inspires a lot of confidence in your product and customer service.

    Great videos! What are your thoughts on risks? Ive see online where people had a litium battery in their 2nd gen Prius and it caught on fire or at least overheated and smoked out the car. I believe they were in cold weather. What are the risks and does your setup have any kind of safety features to keep it from overheating? How does in go in cold weather?

    Hi I just bought a brand new pack from you, a cuestión if in a few years one cell goes bad, you just replace with a new cell or has To be an old cell ??

    Nice video and info. Thanks ! In the app.. "delta SOC" . I check my car with your app and see also "0.00". The app show me the SOC and i see many times at the phone to check it.
    What is the high.. the low.
    I know when the SOC goes down, that one cell goes down. Therefor the "delta SOC"" is helpful. How can i see a actual "delta SOC" ?

    • @hybridapp7158
      @hybridapp7158  Před 3 lety +1

      delta SOC should always be 0, if it is bigger then 0 the error code will pop-up soon. What I was referring to in the video was delta voltage, or "Vol Diff" on the App.

    Works on nickel cells or only lithium thanks

    • @hybridapp7158
      @hybridapp7158  Před 3 lety +1

      since NiMH have total of 28 blades instead of 14 lithium blades, you are gonna need two sets of equalizer, FYI.

    There is no control, security by temperature? Is it not dangerous to neglect this situation? It cannot explode as has happened in many lithium batteries in the event of a production failure, so on

    Once the package is installed, do you have to balance the cells after a while? If the battery had to be removed every so often, it would be a serious inconvenience.

      cell punctured by installer, watch video for detail

    • @ericpowers7704
      @ericpowers7704 Před 3 lety +6

      If you take time to watch the video, you will see that the person who installed the battery accidentally drilled too deeply into the module when modifying the pack.
      That is not a manufacturing defect. That was an error made by the installer.
      Since that time, the modules have been updated so that no additional drilling is needed by the installer.
      Therefore eliminating the possibility of this installation error happening in the future.
      Great work, and transparency from NexPower/NexCell/Dr. Prius.
