Starlink Standard Gen 3 or is it 4, Pipe mount install. Re-use ViaSat mount.

Starlink Gen 3, version 4, pipe mount install, shows different pipe mounts and RECALL update. So the replacement pipe mount is the same size insert, but the bolt was changed because it is a mixed-match in metals used and locks up when your over tighten it. 2/5/24

has your original pipe mount been replaced under the recall, if so, can you create a new video with the updated pipe adapter?

I see why they recalled it. My gen 3 will be here soon and I will want to hitch mount it to my RV

Yes it is workable BUT not the best set up were working on a RV trailer mount video with flag pole check out the roof mount video we just did Please help us make our subscriber goal and hit the subscriber button and like Thanks Bruce

Good vid mate, thanks. Was that the Starlink pipe adaptor? Agree that I also dont like that shallow socket. Anybody in NZ there is a crowd in Chch or somewhere down there, name like Digital store $100 shipped to rural Northland. Havent got it in my hands yet but looks more substantial.

There is reports that a new mount is out but have not seen it yet , Best Buy was reported to be selling them and the web site showed the picture of the new deeper mount, so I ordered three and they were the same thing ??

Use the right pipe size dude. No wonder you're losing the antenna when the wind blows!!! 2" hole...2" Pipe!!! Or Drill a small hole in the pipe and screw through it!!!

What is the difference between the two pole mounts? It appears just a fraction of depth. Not sufficient enoung if you as me. Is this what everyone else is seeing?

I'll stay with my Gen 2. With my Mesh Network I have Wifi 6.

Yep I still have Gen 2 running and works great, speed is a bit faster on Standard V4 but not worth changing for now.
