You’re welcome bro! I have both and I’m actually using the Mi 11 more now than S21 Ultra! That says a lot!
Finally a reviewer that gives the Mi 11 it's well deserved spotlight and praise instead of drooling over the S21 Ultra (which is way more expensive). The Mi 11 Ultra would probably come around the same price as the S21 ultra, and smash it in all areas.
That's what I hoped for too...
I mean it's good but i still thing the s21 ultra is better
just got mine last week, loving it as much as i love my mi mix 2S. The camera is super fun to shoot, No heating issue as a non gamer

The main issue and this not Mi11 centric is battery size reduction in 2021 especially given increased refreshed rates.
2020 phones by Xiaomi tended to have great battery life. You would hope later in the year a few special phones with this class of design with a bigger battery are released.
Still excited for the upcoming K40 pro and Mi 11 Ultra..I cant wait to see it...But Mi 11 is one of the beast flagship...Nice review Frankie👍🏻🇵🇭

Thanks bro! Battery life is solid easily 5-6 hours of SOT, which for WQHD+ and 120 Hz is not bad at all

@@chuksnjike6646 I would tell you to buy it! Quality phone with a good price. Unfortunately my one got rolled over by a car!!! Cracked all over back and front but guess what still works... Ordered the Mi11ultra still waiting.. if you don't want to spend over a $1000 dollars for a phone Mi11is the way to go!

I had this phone for 2 weeks from beginning of June upgrading from a note 10 plus 512 the notes reception was amazing even in poor let areas, the mi 11 reception even standing next to a 5G/4g mast was awful, walk 101 meters from it and you go down to 2 bars and could not browse the net. Silly thing is I loved the mi11 it was a great phone and I really wanted it to work, but had to send it back, now using my trusty Note 10 again.
i bought it for 615€ and xiaomi give us the Xiaomi mi purifer + 1 year screen protection !!
I bought for €700 and I regret. Display, touch sensor all are bragging. It has the brightest display but in reality it seems that it's brightness level is 400 nits. Harman kardon speaker sounds loud but quality is pretty bad.
What was the main reason for selling your Chinese version and buying global? Is it identical apart from Google Services being locked out? Was there no way around that in the end? You couldn't flash it to the global ROM or anything?

I was just about to give this phone a try BUT
❌ no IP protection against dust and water
❌ Tele optics are missing
❌ no memory expansion via microSD
❌ USB 2.0 and very low output voltage at the USB port
❌ Weak reception with GSM

I wish someone could test the video camera for overheating. At least 30 minutes recording.
This is a direct competitor for the s21+ and is about £250 cheaper making the s21+ a poor choice unless you are a Samsung fandom member? It is hard to think the s21 line is anything but average as we see more and more 2021 phones released and I can see why sales dived in q4 of 2020 (Apple sold nearly 30% more!). Samsung is struggling with its flagships.
I think I would be happy with this but would wait for the MiUI 12.5 update before committing and by then the Mi11 Ultra will be out along with the OP9 Pro, Xperia 1, MK 3, ROG Phone 5, OPPO Find X3 and P50 Pro. All these look like they will put the s21 Ultra into perspective despite the YT affiliated channel,s promo videos!

@@adelioskampos8090 Who is this everyone that complained about heat even when watching youtube? Even GSMarena also confirms the phone only get hot after multiple benchmark runs. Normal daily use won't reach the stress level of 3 benchmarks in a row.

Oh I know so I had issues with the network it was not working I factory reset it I did updates I got support from xiaomi but I still got the heating issues now

What temperature issue? Those antutu tests are designed to push the phone to it's highest limit. No problem with heating. There's also a massive software update they promised that would roll out soon that's yet to come, so a lot of things will be fixed with that for sure, like camera optimization, the "overheating issue", performance, etc..

I did say it overheats right? But in daily use it’s a non issue that’s the truth. I don’t run antutu benchmarks all day, do you?
@@FrankieTech Some people just don't get the context that the phone only overheat after benchmark runs. In their mind, they think the phone will overheat 24/7. Daily use will pose no problem.
@@notagain2856 Yeah they really don’t. And my goal in those tests was to really see how these phone handle under the most extreme conditions. Most of the other Snapdragon 888 devices I tested actually severely throttle performance to not heat up as much. But that is also not an ideal solution.
