Saw JB's in Pensacola auditorium about 1971, dynamite! Met Fred Wesley and half the band. Had breakfast with them. All top musicians and great guys, top players and real working musicians. Probably the most soulful band on the planet. God Bless them. What a great show.

What?!? 14 ppl listened thru the album then said"Nah this sucks" That kinda doesn't really make sense does it? Maybe they were really fans of Maceo's more jazzy grooves and this just doesn't measure up by comparison. Cause that's the only thing that makes any sense otherwise, right?

Hey Brown was the man make no mistake about that but every member of that band was the best of the best from Jabo Clyde cheese Sinclair Maceo Fred and many many more and no matter when that band might have broke up the constant one was always Sinclair no matter how many changes they went through Personnel wise you always saw Sinclair who was a master of the baritone the tenor and Alto I love Sinclair Pinckney when I first saw him and brown and the band was at the Regal Theater in 1966 nobody sat down we dance and dance and dance and I was only 10 years old watch my mom and daddy cut the rug like nobody's business I've been hooked ever since I'm a drummer since I was five and I owe a lot of my rudiments to Clyde and Jabo make no mistake about it I've gone on my own and do my own thing but they were my inspiration I love Brown and the JB's until the day I die
