It's surprising that the Malibu has standard rear torso airbags, yet the Equinox doesn't offer them at all.

Wow! Not safe! I shared with my aunt because she was looking to buy this but now she’s changed her mind because of the safety problems! Yikes!

You should do a video of what happened with the Nissan Frontier in the new moderate overlap test.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll add it to the hopper 🙂

this is from 2018- 2021 models, you are 3-6 years behind, so this is not up to date. also, this is why you shouldn't rely on the vehicle, be more aware and overcautious. it is a cheap model, don't expect the military grade protection.

This generation of Equinox was introduced for the 2018 model year and hasn’t been structurally changed since then. The ratings are valid for the current 2023/2024 models. Other inexpensive models have demonstrated that it’s possible to do well in these evaluations.

You sound like a butthurt american car fanboy. The equinox is absolute garbage compared to everything else in the segment, just face it. You’d be stupid to buy this over something like a Mazda CX-5.

You can’t trust that other people on the road know how to drive.
