About the channel...
in Motion is a channel that seeks to portray various corners of the city and its surroundings, where the streets and its architecture are the protagonists. The content of this space is inspired by various "Walking" channels around the world and the desire to leave a record so that my children can appreciate in the future how the city where they lived looked.
About my city...
Santiago also known as Santiago de Chile, is the capital and largest city of Chile as well as one of the largest cities in the Americas. It is the center of Chile's most densely populated region, the Santiago Metropolitan Region, whose total population is 8 million, of which more than 6 million live in the city's continuous urban area. The city is entirely in the country's central valley. Most of the city lies between 500-650 m (1,640-2,133 ft) above mean sea level.
About the places we will visit...
Palacio de La Moneda or simply La Moneda, is the seat of the President of the Republic of Chile. It also houses the offices of three cabinet ministers: Interior, General Secretariat of the Presidency and General Secretariat of the Government. It occupies an entire block in downtown Santiago, in the area known as Civic District between Moneda (North Side), Morandé (East), Alameda del Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins (South) and Teatinos street (West).
La Moneda, originally a colonial mint house, was designed by Italian architect Joaquín Toesca. Construction began in 1784 and was opened in 1805, while still under construction. The production of coins in Chile took place at La Moneda from 1814 to 1929.
In June, 1845 during president Manuel Bulnes's administration, the palace became the seat of government and presidential residence. In 1930, a public square-named Plaza de la Constitución ("Constitution Square")-was built in front of the palace. After the presidency of Gabriel González Videla it ceased to serve as a presidential residence.

Ahora vivo en Lima que tbn tiene sus partes bonitas pero Stgo está a otro nivel, cero comparación y a Lima me cuesta quererla y a Santiago fue amor a primera vista jejeje

About your question of the presidential palace name: The production of coins in Chile took place at La Moneda from 1814 to 1929.

Har märkt att dina och många andras premiärer/förinspelade walkingvideor håller hög kvalité 👏👍. I livewalks så redigerar/ändrar man ju ingenting.
@@Daniel-yb7mx Det är mycket jobb, och framför allt mycket tid, att exportera filer, konvertera dem, redigera ljudet separat, sedan redigera videoklippen, sammanfoga dem, korrigera färg, göra introt med kartan... Jag tror att jag kunde göra det enklare men jag gillar slutresultatet.
Ja, livet är mycket lättare att göra, bara sända och det är det, men för att börja göra liv behöver jag minst 1000 prenumeranter, så jag har fortfarande en lång väg kvar 😌

Por qué hay tantas rejas en Santiago de Chile? No parece una ciudad muy amistosa. Parece una cárcel donde controlan por donde deben pasar los transeúntes.
es que luego de la migración masiva, ha entrado todo tipo de gente, incluso delincuentes que no respetan reglas, por eso CUIDAMOS la ciudad.
Soy de Lima pero hay que admitir que Santiago se ve muy bien 👍🏻
El Patio Centro, parece que se conecta con un puente a otro edificio. Ese puente está abierto al público o es parte de una oficina? (Time 28:41)
Se llama Puente Santander y es parte del edificio del banco, entiendo que solo quienes trabajan ahí pueden acceder a él. Conecta el Banco Santander con el Ex Banco Santiago, así que quienes necesitan ir de un edificio a otro, en vez de bajar todos los pisos y cruzar por la calle, lo hacen en el piso 10 a través del puente.

@@inMotion_walks en Toronto Canada. En 2016 empecé a ir todos los años hasta qué pasó esto de la pandemia. 95% de mi family están por Stgo y 5ta Region. Solo somos unos 6 en Canadá

Hermosa ciudad 🌆 ♥ muy europea ♥ eso demuestra que la cultura chilena tiene un legado innegable de los europeos que hicieron crecer este país, muy occidental además, solo comparado a Buenos Aires o ciudades de Canadá, Estados Unidos, Australia, etc.
Santiago esta destruida, a pocas cuadras de la moneda esta lleno de carpas de emigrantes y la alameda llena de grafitis, basura y desorden fatal, todos gracias a estos últimos año de gobiernos nefastos y corruptos
Así es ,pero llegaron los caribeños y la hicieron mierda sobre todo el centro.
Es muy bonito aunque no tanto como la plaza de Lima o Buenos Aires, eso si en los últimos 3 años el sector ha cambiado mucho, el comercio ambulante y el sexual se multiplicaron x10 y muchos rincones ya son caribeños

He viajado por muchos paises y el graffiti esta en todas partes, tal vez el unico pais en que no recuerdo haber visto graffiti fue en China.
@putalawea equisde hace 10 años no era así, ahora se ensañaron con los grafitis es una vergüenza andar por la alameda y gran parte de la ciudad
1. El grafitti está en todas partes, no importa el país. Viví muchos años en São Paulo y la ciudad también está llena de rayados.
2. Santiago es hermosa. El video fue grabado en 2022, no en 1800.
3. Todas las ciudades del mundo tienen puntos feos y puntos hermosos, ¿por qué Santiago sería la excepción?
