Distressing has never been my cup of tea, but I can appreciate that you do it skillfully with good result. I'm a big fan of Kilz primer, too. Good stuff! I've had bleed-through with another primer I won't mention- never with kilz.
Love it!!@
I'm not a fan of faux distress but I might have added some faux board lines to make it seem like planks. Great instruction on your video for that technique.
Love it
Glad you loved it ❤️
😊nice
Awesome!!
Thanks!❤️
is the wax the sealer or do you seal that with something else after the wax?
What grit sand paper ?
Just personal, i don't like the "distressed" look.
Its not for everyone.. Thanks for watching ❤️❤️😊
I’m gonna do my first project soon and want to distress. Never seen this technique before so it was really interesting. Unfortunately I did a search on Hobby Lobby and it looks like they only have like 3 colors. My projects are two raw Ikea Tarva dressers. I’m guessing the wood is pine but want to paint them white and look like a darker wood underneath that has been distressed. The new knobs will be a dark brown metal and my bed frame is brown metal also. Does Lowe’s or anywhere else sell a similar chalk paint in a small amount like that? I’m planning on getting started this wkend and prefer to not have to order anything and wait on it. Thanks for any advice you can give.
