did the same with mine. upgraded the tip of the wand though and went with the v clip to attach wand to pack. absolutely love it.
I’ll probably be doing both of those myself. I like the v-hook more so than the magnet.

I was wondering if there is a way to plug my smoke machine into the pack , for when the vent sequence starts, the smoke also starts.

I know there are people that have done it on CZcams but unfortunately, I'm not certain how that's done.
You could use a aerosol can and sprayer combo but it would run out probally

Any tips regarding how to install the ghostlabs42 wand upgrades? I installed the pack lights and soundboard but am a little nervous about the small cuts required to make the vent holes, add the switches, LED, etc…
Hello it took a long time but I recommend a cordless Dremel or similar tool to hollow out the vent holes. Then I used small hobby files to round everything out. I really need to make a wand video for everyone out there. I’ll try and get one done soonest.

Im modding my pack its almost dome i just dont have lights but i only need pack lights no wand kit lights or sound just lights and id prefer if it was battery operated do you know any lights that are like that ?

I was trying to remove the sounds completely from the default pack so I can just have the lights, would I just disconnect the speaker or would I have to do something else?
If you just disconnect the speaker you should be good to go.

I have that kit in a box , had it for 3 months and haven't got the guts to install it in my pack lol

How do the magnets attach to the pack and the wand?
They attach to a portion of the wand which you have to take apart and drill some new holes into. They other end attaches to the inside of the proton pack with a nut, screw and washer. His kits come with everything you need to attach it.

We fixed the lights and everything but now the trigger doesn’t work
And the sound doesn’t work either
hello I see that you have the same electronic kit as me I plugged them in last week and then I walked with the lights and the sound bug and the indicator light on the sound card is blinking can you help me please

Hello, it's been a little while since I bought mine but I would say about $220 for all the mods.
How do you turn off test mode in the wand my son needs help with it
Are you referring to test mode in the pack board, or in the wand board? There are two different boards, one in each. There is a jumper on the printed circuit board in the wand, it says TEST. It needs to be set to open, in other words don't have anything connected to it.
If it's the board in the proton pack itself, there is a jumper on the board which says TEST. Make sure that the jumper is not covering both pins. If it is will be stuck in test mode.

Also, I had to change the print orientation since the first time I printed it with PLA it broke when installing the battery.

Did you install both the pack lights kit and the wand upgrade kit? If so, it sounds like it's in test mode. That means you have the jumper in the wrong position on the board. See this link for details about how to exit out of test mode: www.ghostlab42.com/img/Spirit_Wand/SpiritWandLights_v1p1.pdf

@@suzyorosco2642 Which trigger are you referring to? The Activation button? That needs to be hooked up the board in the wand. Also make sure you didn't pinch the wires when you installed it or damaged the wiring there, it's a really tight fit that requires some holes and filing.
@@superactionguy6000 the firing trigger was working on the wand and turning the sound on but now the sound or trigger doesn't work. Is it possible that the speaker shorted out.
