Really appreciate the kind words from such a supportive community. We have broken down the motor and located the issue today. The video will be out this Monday at 6pm PST explaining everything. But to eliminate some confusion it wasn’t the turbo or the tunes fault.
@@TaylorKing1 piston rings rotate only for a little bit during operation, even if they do rotate they wouldnt cause low compression, if you payed attention they said they added oil in cylinder 2 which caused the compression to go up (adding oil helps seal the rings making compression go up) but what do i know i'm just a clown
@@TaylorKing1 hopefully he posts an update on what really happened, right now we cant really assume the cause of the low conpression, could be a number of things honestly

I'm running a P600 remote tuned on E45 by Redstar Motoring. No issues on the new turbo after the old one was recalled. Dyno hit 502. It was replaced last summer. I also don't bang it around though. I have a 25 minute commute and it's so loud with catless dp over 65mph so mostly i'm just cruising. I hope we get to see the resolution and you back on the roads soon.

I have 500hp type r and it’s on stock internals and stock clutch, no problems what so ever. Runs smooth and pulls hard and it’s still reliable like when new. These engines and clutches can take the power no problem 😉

Hope you're problem resolves. I've had my Rampage RS-550 for 4 months now, stock internals, XDI pump, stock injectors, and FBO. No issues at all. Pulls like a mf. Tuned by Mitch at Rampage fab. I beat the shit out of it everyday. Very reliable. I really wanted the P600 for the price and the bigger turbine but couldn't wait. Glad I went with the Rampage turbo.

I was not planning a super aggressive tune either, I only wanted to do around 400whp on 93 Octane (I have no E85 available) because I drive my car hard on track and want maximum reliability however I am having second thoughts since I am on stock block, did you have a tune before your built motor? Any issues with that?
🙌🙌🙌. I had a custom tune before my block being built it ran fine making 411hp 441tq on stock turbo with a upgraded fuel system. I’m not really sure what power you can make on 93 but I’m sure you can make good power

Also if your going to be down for awhile would you sell me your coil packs. I'm having a hesitation up top in higher rpm

Damn dude. This sucks. Been there done that. Im guessing you have no datalogs of the event?. I would say you need to have a talk with your tuner. I went a bit aggressive many years ago on my D16 with timing and leaned up enough under load, and melted the rings lands. You either detonated and cracked the pistons between the rings lands or got it hot enough that the piston "melted" or deformed. The tune sure didn't help. I know tuners like to hide their calibration settings but if this was me, i would demand a copy of it that shows settings so you can rule it out and make sure not to do this again.

He needed to make the video on loop to monetize so he can rebuild the motor, cuz it’s still smoking although he considered dropping a bigger turbo while he wasn’t sure why it was smoking…when he should’ve tested compression 1st cuz it was smoking A LOT.
The place building my motor just pushed a stock block to 580hp and I know a couple people daily drive 500hp mine blew to a different issue that will be explained in the next video

Yea I could have done it that way but I didn’t want fuel flooding the cylinders while we were compression testing.
