That segment Cristian tries to do a conchairto on mother Wayne (with the help of Nick wayne) just because she knocked out in the ring, and then Adam shows up and stop him from do it, but then, he does a Conchairto on Nick Wayne in front of his mother ( oh happy mother's day btw). It's all so absurd is one of my favorite segments of all time!

The Edge and Christian feud was basically a dream match since 2006 when they both finally established themselves as singles stars and especially when Christian returned to WWE in 2009. It seemed like that was going to happen in 2011 until Edge was forced to retire. I'm glad the feud finally happened in AEW.

The original plan was for Christian to win the heavyweight title and then to feud with Edge down the line.

Christian wasn't given the push that Edge got, so they both knew that the story was likely to get derailed heavily in WWF/E. Now, that Christian has received his due pushes and respect as a singles guy, especially as an effective heel stable leader, the blowoff is now very possible and will be a heavy payoff until they retire.

Yeah Christian wasn’t really given a chance in wwe, but in tna and aew we can see how dastardly he can be as a heel. Edge is very much in the tailgate of his career, was much bigger in wwe, but imo I love what he’s doing in aew tho
