Eiko & Koma: My Parents 1/2

Eiko and Koma's son, Shin Otake, edited and narrated the short
documentary video about his parents. The video illuminates Eiko and
Koma's upbringing in post-war Japan, the formation of their
partnership in politically turbulent 1960s, their journey and training
in Europe, and their immigration to the U.S. The video also includes
documentation of their works, "Fur Seal," "River," "Land" and
"Breath." The video was created for the occasion of 2004 Samuel H.
Scripps American Dance Festival Award.
