Great video again you two! This Ryokan experience looks absolutely amazing! I'm currently looking for some Onsen/Ryokan with private baths, because I have tattoos and I really don't want to offend anyone, so this might be the ticket. Your editing is phenomenal as well!
EJAVAM07 Hi 👋 That is a really good question and great attention to detail 👏 We actually have no idea unfortunately. Now you’ve gotten us curious as well! Thanks for dropping by 🙂
+Gene Hi Gene, the place we stayed at is called Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei in Kinosaki (pretty much an onsen village!). Can't recommend the place enough - John
@@JohnandMalie I worked there for about 6 months. I found some of the out of the way small restaurants are not too expensive. BUT go to anywhere near the main night life areas and prices go way up. Hotels were expensive as were apartments. I had planned to move back there in the early 90's and did some house hunting. As I remember a small 2 bedroom apartment was very expensive (compared with the USA)...As I remember some where around 5K/month (US$'s)
BADGUY 1 oh yes, in terms of living I’ve heard it can be very expensive and if it’s within the cities, you’re likely to get something quite small due to lack of space. Can’t imagine what the prices would be like now 20 years later. Have you been back since?
BADGUY 1 we’ve been back a few times and it also dazzles us! Hidden gems everywhere and things just change so frequently. Any travel plans for yourself in the near future?

Japan is GREAT.....but...."Takai desu" (Mucho dinero!!)
Agree - We love Japan. In terms of it being expensive, it can be but it all depends on what you do. Have you visited Japan before?

@@JohnandMalie Unfortunately no. But my daughter and son-in-law were there two years ago to attend a wedding. Japan STILL dazzles MOST tourists.
