For those saying it didn't work right after following the tutorial, I had the same issue but I was able to smooth out the sound by turning down the volume knob on the ES2 and raising the intensity knob more than the video called for. You can also just do what I did and pull up a screen shot of his effects on the ES2 and match them, that's how I found that my volume knob was too high.
I would love if you could show doing this in different synths... Cause I desperately need this sound. Especially the pitch bending... that's what I'm having the biggest issue with.

I know for real. Apple can turn it into something so much more - one of my favs - it combines a bunch of different synths - a little UI update and it can be Logic version of serum - would be amazing,
