The Sox went to Sports Vision in 1984, a scrambled pay tv station on channel 44 which no doubt made a lot of Cub fans out of former Sox fans as the Cubs were still free to watch on WGN.

I feel like history is about to repeat itself with that Marquee network for the cubbies

@@matthewuribe8375 Yeah, that and having to pawn the silver and take out a second mortgage for tickets, is turning off fans and killing interest in the sport.

I love at 24:00-ish in they're laughing about how Bob will wear anything that's forced on him for a photoshoot..... somehow forgetting that they forced him to wear the hat

Man, and Bob really thought it through about what does it actually mean to do comedy. It isn’t some stupid philosophy like making people happy or laugh, but really it all comes down to being cynical about identities

If that's a fitted cap, I think Bob needs to get an exchange at least a half size up.

Always good to hear about the Disco Demolition game since I was there when I was 21. Funny that Bob says "When are we gonna talk about the White Sox" and Len assures him they will and then they never do after that remark. I want to be in his Disco Demolition movie if he ever sells it.

My guess is that Bob's Grandfather became a Cubs fan when the White Sox went to Sportsvision and charged to watch the games. The White Sox lost almost a whole generation of fans when they went to Sportsvision.

Man itd be hilarious if someone threw Benetti a beer during this segment, shotgunned the beer, then threw it at the camera man and told the camera man to ‘f off’ along with other profanity. Man I hope that happens one day.
