Many of you will know I absolutely love visiting my good friends, the Sahakians, at their store Davidoff of London on Jermyn street, every time I visit London. This time, however, Eddie invited me to visit another treasure of theirs: The Edward Sahakian Cigar Lounge at the Bulgari Hotel!
This is a cigar lover's paradise. Situated inside the famous Bulgari Hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge, this cigar lounge has the distinct honor of having access to a selection of both rare and vintage cigars from Edward Sahakian's private humidor. For a real connoisseur, this lounge gives you an opportunity to sample a selection of cigars that are almost impossible to get anywhere else!
Edward Sahakian is the owner of Davidoff of London, one of the world's finest cigar shops, in addition to being one of the world's foremost cigar aficionados in his own right.

I visited Davidoff when I was on holiday with my children and he was most hospitable. He father gifted me a Davidoff no. 2 when I said I was Ex military and living in Germany and simply had to visit them when in London.

Yes you are absolutely right. I was sitting at Murrano the other day and I forgot my cigar cutter. He kindly let me use his and when I returned it he insisted that I keep it. Of course I didn't but what a gentleman. Him and his father were very kind and welcoming. Even let me take a photo with them
What a class act Eddie is. I can listen to him talk all day long. His mannerisms and etiquette are just incredible.

at first it seems nice, but after a point it starts to seem disingenuous, like they have to keep up a facade of giving more compliments than the average person. maybe i'm just not enough of a gentleman to appreciate the way they act
@@cvspvr always trust your instincts. I love Eddie, but there's something off about Kirby. He always seems uncomfortable to the core, but it's possible the camera is causing that and not who he is deep inside.
@@drewdayss I get the feeling Eddie is the type of mafia-esque gentleman that has a secret place in the basement of a mansion where the secrets flow like blood, he seems like the type of gentlemanly killer type. I think Kirby is too square and it makes him nervous. I could be entirely wrong but I get that feeling.

During my recent trip to London I had the absolute joy of spending a few hours in this cigar lounge. David, who was working that evening, took very good care of me. I also had the pleasure of visiting Davidoff and finally meeting Edward and Eddie who are just as charming in person as they are on Kirby’s videos. Very much looking forward to my next visit!

I smoked a cigar there earlier this year. I am a 20 year old and am relatively new to cigar smoking. I was also traveling and so was not able to dress as well as I would have liked. Despite this, Nicolo was so friendly and helpful that I felt very comfortable and had a wonderful experience. I am counting the days till I can have another cigar in that room.

I don't smoke at all but I really enjoy watching the Sahakians. The fact that Eddie took over the role of preparing the cigars from his staff and still asked Kirby for permission is so gentlemanly
My first instinct is to think it's a pretentious fake wholesomeness, but if you listen for more than a minute it feels very genuine.

Great guy, met him in the Davidoff store once & I have to say such a well spoken, charming man with a real sense of authenticity & grace.
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the senior, Edward, back in June at Davidoff of London and engage in a bit of a talk with him. An outstanding gentleman that greets you with a smile on his face and genuine interest in you as a person. I hope to come back next year and then meet Eddie and hopefully also Edward once again.

At this day and age, programs like this just aren't made any more. When the conversation goes in to absolutely nothing and everything the video really high-lights. Two gentlemen just talking over a cigar. Magic.
I've watched Eddie and listened to him speak so much that it has affected my speech and behavior unintentionally. I'm genuinely nicer, gentler, less aggressive, and more content in the little things than I was before. It's incredible. I hope to meet his father and him one day.

I would have been intimidated to walk into a luxury cigar shop in London, but these videos showcase the hospitality and gentleness of the Davidoff brand.
Its just... so nice to watch two urbane gentlemen being so respectful and courteous towards one another, fully enjoying the pleasure of the other's company, conversing in a relaxed and delicate manner, carefully selecting their words not with any air of arrogance or pretentiousness, but solely to enhance the level of respect and appreciation they truly hold for the other.

Not a smoker myself, but I find this so fascinating, a window into a niche world. It's lovely to hear such formal English being spoken too as its so rarely heard these days
I wish we could bring back these old traditions of a suit, cigars, and formal English. It is just all such a class act, that we don't I think see enough of in modern society. Props to these two gentlemen and I will look forward to meeting them someday.
I think we need to just start with people being kind to one another, that'd be a great step forward for humanity.

I always light up and watch this channel, it's a real treat to smoke in such amazing "pseudo" company! The Sahakians' exude such elegance this world is often short of. Purely amazing to watch and admire. I can only dream to be so humble and lighthearted.
Mr. Sahakian comes across as the archetype of the perfect gentleman and connoisseur. Yet he never seems condescending or conceited. I enjoy every video I watch that features him.
Eddie makes me smile simply because he's passionate and incredibly kind.

I always love hearing a pro like Eddie admit that they don't pick up on a lot of the flavors some afficionados might find, but just enjoy the staples of a good cigar. No egos here.
He's not a pro. I have met ppl who pick up the hobby and learn how to properly roll and chew the smoke to attain flavor.
Subscribed for shoe polishing, stayed for the cigar videos. Even if you’re not a smoker, you can’t deny the eloquence of two gentlemen lighting up cigars and just having a conversation.
The overflow of refinement between these two, make me feel like I absolutely couldn't relax while enjoying a smoke.

I have loved Cigars for the better part of 15 years, and its good to see you enjoying them indoors as gentlemen. I enjoy you showing the world that Cigar smoking is simply not the same thing as cigarette smoking. Comparing the two has done major harm to one of the last acceptable ways for men to bond naturally, to come together in peace and enjoy the company of strangers, and make new friends...
Eddie saying that some of Kirby's viewers visiting the store are shy is on point. I was so nervous when I went not so long ago, but Eddie was so lovely and getting to buy a Davidoff Signature No. 2 from Davidoff was truly a bucket list moment for me.

Im smoking a Partagas Lusitania, drinking a Dos X, sitting on my truck's tailgate. I feel like a gentleman listening to these two.
The day after procuring a cache of Cubans at Davidoff’s with the help of “Mad” Max Foulkes (Max signed a new N-95 mask in honor of “Surviving the pandemic one corona at a time” and took selfies with me), I was in line at Heathrow with the Sahakians. Of course, I extolled Max’s virtues and got Edward and Eddie to sign another new N-95 mask. No surprise, they were both extremely gracious. Two weeks later, I made another pilgrimage to Davidoff’s with two work colleagues. Max & Eddie set us up with some great sticks, which we enjoyed at the café next to the shop. Glorious!

I had my 1st Charter Oak Connecticut tonight. 6x60. I've passed by this cigar so many times because my lounge has it retailing for $6.95. I don't usually bother with cigars under $10 and figured it must be lousy. Then I saw the 93 rating and had to give it a try. Glad I did. Really enjoyable cigar.

@@kirbyallison 100% . I have come across ( visited a new one last night) cigar lounges in Dubai . Excellent interiors , great cocktails. And a humidor that has maybe 10 cigars. So yes it's all about the quality of humidor content. The rest is secondary at best .

Kirby, the series that you do with the Sahakians, are for me probably some of the most exquisite and elegant videos that one can find on CZcams. With regards to Mr. Sahakian (Eddie), "chapeau bas" for such invaluable gentlemen.
It's been voiced amply but I agree that Eddie possesses a pedigree which is truly pleasurable to witness. It feels like he is representative of an older world, and older approach to life. Blessings to All!
What a great honor to be invited to a cigar room the likes of the Sahakian's. A quality cigar like they offer should take at least one hour or longer to properly enjoy. Especially if you match it with a fine Adult Beverage.

Headed into Davidoff about a fortnight ago, briefly met Edward but not Eddie - staff were super helpful and they have a lovely selection of all sorts, not just cigars! Kirby hope you’re around for a while - would love a smoke at some point

My brother sent me this video. I’ve never seen or heard of either of these guys. I don’t even smoke cigars. I couldn’t stop watching. Both complete gentlemen and pure class. Eddie seems like the type of person who could make anyone feel like they’re home now and everything is going to be ok. He has this overwhelming feeling of calm that emanates from every aspect of who he is. So impressive.

My favourite thing about smoking cigars with friends are, it's one of the rare moments nowadays, especially with my generation where you can spend time with friends, conversations are flowing and no one is constantly living in their phones. It's one of the purest & authentic moments.
Seriously? Every single time I go to the cigar lounge, it's just like one group of about 3 millionaires who don't even want to look at you if you aren't in a 3-piece tailored suit and the rest are all on their phones while smoking and it's like getting blood from a stone trying to engage any of them in a conversation. Even two best mates who were there last time were hardly talking and one guy was sat there with a face like thunder and ear phones in watching tiktok and youtube.
@@AD-kv9kj Yeah I rarely go to cigar lounges, I’m relatively young (in my early 20s) so we typically just meet up at someone’s place or if we’re at a restaurant, holiday or something a long the lines of that. I’m not one to wear a 3 piece or suit for that matter but when I have gone to lounges which I’m usually by myself or with one other friend, I usually find it welcoming, relaxing & conversations tend to flow.
I think it’s a generation thing, the older folks tend to really hold conversations really well with each other & I’ve even found myself lost in conversations that started off with something as small as a timepiece I was wearing. My generation and even the guys that are up in their 40s, I realised they are the ones that fit what you described more accurately
