The new American Dream I missed… the Taylor AD24

What is Neo-tropical Mahogany? Where does it come from and how does it sound? I have no idea. However, the guitar looks amazing so I’ll leave a link to it on the Taylor website and Sweetwater for those who can’t wait to try one.

Thanks for your input. I just got a 2 year old 324e for a slightly cheaper price than the AD24ce which was too hard for me to pass up!

No, I wouldn't buy it. I find it very difficult to get into Taylor guitars built after the year 2000. They just kept changing things (not for the better, in my opinion) until they got to where they are today. I thought the Grand Pacific model could be something I could get into, but it turns out no. Let's not forget the pricing. Everything they put out is overpriced, in my opinion. I don't care where a guitar is made, and I certainly don't care what the name on the headstock is. If it's a good guitar, then it's good. And there is a hell of a lot of good stuff out there these days!
