My Cure for Nostalgia

Do you pronounce it RetroArch or RetroArch? I couldn't make up my mind.
I've always loved and appreciated the opportunity to revisit games from when I was younger or even games that were well before my time. It's fascinating to see where gaming has come from and some of the old games still are very fun to play today. I hope to share some of that appreciation with you all. Go have fun :)

As both of your favorite games have been remade about 20 years later, how do you feel about them, especially considering that you've only experienced the old games through emulation and the new ones are native to the platform. Could they have been your favorite games if you played them first, before the emulation? Feel free to turn the subject into a video if it clicks

I've experienced Spyro and crash on disc first via PS2 backwards compatibility, but it wasn't until I was older and those discs were long since scratched that I really delved deep into them. Needless to say, I adore both the remakes. Though personally I prefer Spyro 2 and 3 as they originally were due to voice acting changes in the remakes
