You do know that you are pulling excess tnsile strength on the 4, 6 or 8 wires you are pulling with? The manufacturer would not warranty their wire if they seen it pulled like this. Look I have done thousand of pulls myself like this and found out about 15 years ago that I was creating excess tensile pulling force on the wire. Go guy a Southwire GP110 pulling sock kit. It is not only about 3 times faster than this but it pulls the wire like the manufacturer intended it to. That is how I do it as well plus I use Ideal Yellow 77 cable pulling Lubricant it’s magic for pulling cables through conduits . Nice to see young electricians coming in to the trade .watching from the U.K.
They make clear pulling jell now. Yellow 77 is what they used over 20 years ago in the 80's and 90's
Yellow 77 is my wire lube of choice as well. I know its a bit messy but slippery is what you want and that it is!

That is a proven way to attach to a rope. On long pulls i always wrapped a couple of individual strands of scrap wire around the folded wire and twisted the ends to hold the folded wires tight then taped it
Put a rag around the head before you tape it up makes removing it easy

depending on situation I sometimes stagger the wires. I'll cut the insulation on the main trunk far enough back that I can create loops from the main trunk line then proceed down the trunk attaching the other wires to the loops of the main trunk line.
3/8'''' rope can pull those baby feeders and you could pull straight through a pull box in the run, six 90s in the total pull. That rope is for big 500s. Rope that is in clean shape is insanely strong.
It’s not the size of the rope, it’s the type/make up. Just an example…Home Depot sells a 5/8” “marine” rope. Even at that size it’s only rated for 500lbs and breaks at 1000. 1/4” dyneema or spectra are good for about 15,000lbs. Most of those 3-5 strand yellow ropes aren’t good for more than 300-500 pounds. Tuggers can pull 5000-10,000 and when using trucks/equipment even that can be exceeded. Please know what you’re pulling with and check the specs. Can save someone a serious hospital trip or worse one day. Remember….generic termed “rope” is the one place where size doesn’t matter!
