- Al Geiberger Jr is back for a TaylorMade Stealth 2 Club Fitting at The Kingdom Carlsbad California.
Al decides between a Stealth 2 Plus 4 wood or 5 wood, calculates his gapping using the TrackMan launch monitor and drops onions on us all about controlling Dynamic Loft at impact.
This is a great example as to how you should manage your own club fitting and what questions you should be asking the fitter throughout the process.

So much logic in this fitting that the normal quick swinging amateur can use. Well done.
I've carried 4 wood and a 19° utility 3 iron with Ventus shafts in both for a few years now and it gaps great. Along with the fact my stock set 4 iron isn't too far off the 3 utility so the gapping stays good through the long irons. If you went 3 wood and 5 wood most would have a HUGE gap between the 5 wood and 4 iron. No bueno.
This is the video that sold me on getting a Stealth 2+ 3&5 wood. The height, spin, distance and versatility is undeniable. Incredible woods!

Great content, Trottie! I absolutely love watching your videos. I do have a questions for you regarding newer golfers/higher handicap players. Does it make sense to get fitted if you are newer to the game and or have a higher handicap?
I think once you're asking that question then you're ready (good question btw), and of course if you're on the extremes when it comes to build then you should consider the fitting sooner.

Hi trottie I’m from Utah recently had the same back surgery as Tiger L5-S1 fusion looking to get new clubs. Have played Taylormade clubs most of my golfing career. I’m a high handicap player. I love your fitting videos. I’m just curious how one gets invited to the kingdom?

First time out Cobra Aerojet LS 6th hole 320 carry greenside bunker on a par 4 you can keep that Stealth 2. Although that said at my local range that has Top Tracer the fastest ballspeed I have seen was 199MPH and was a Stealth 2 Fuji 50 gram (not sure which) dude ripped a 140+ clubhead speed with it.

How young we talking? You can certainly get fit for jr clubs. Smaller head size or smaller grip size? Regardless you can request to try jr clubs I would have to assume

🤣 I've been doing this for a long time & worked A LOT with guys who have Al's speed. The sound and the ball flight give away the #'s, but cool that you recognized that.
I play an m6 with x stiff ball playing speed is 155 to 165 I've maxed out at 171 ball speed I've only hit 171 1 time I've hit 170 2 x most of the time I'm around 164ish. Question will the stealth improve my speed and or accuracy. Longest carry so far is 301 on 168 ball speed.
From M6 you will see improvements - yes

Want to get to 120 swing 180 ball but have kind of hit a wall
Always trying to get to pga type speeds but not quite there. Just need a small boost would love playing speed to be in 170s but need to get top speed up to180
