  • Nathan Carman and his mother, Linda, set out for a fishing trip in 2016. They disappeared, with Nathan miraculously being found a week later aboard a life raft, his mother nowhere to be seen. What could have been a tragic accident, takes a turn when, 3 years previous, someone else close to Nathan Carman was the victim of an unsolved murder.

On June 15, 2023, Nathan Carman was found dead in his cell awaiting trial which was due to go ahead in October. His cause of death is not known but it's believed to have been self-inflicted. He was 29 years old.

    "It must have been terrifying!"
    "yes."
Also, there is a stereotype that people on the spectrum cannot lie/have trouble lying. That definitely isn't true. Because a lot of them rehearse their responses to potential conversations in their head, some get very good at it, and have no trouble with sticking to a story. Having a monotone voice and not making direct eye contact also throws off a lot of people's radars. They'll assume that person is shy/timid and often drop their guard. Having deficiencies in empathy can also lead to pathological lying if it is logical in their head. Just because people with autism are logic-based, does not mean they are infallible or cannot lie.

I have also had friends and lovers who are on the Spectrum.
If we are to acknowledge that folks on the spectrum can love deeply, be kind, careful, and good, is it not only logical that we assume they can be the opposite? We cannot judge Carman by his tone, eye contact, or body language.

There's a case of a missing female fire fighter in Brevard County named Brandy Hall that went missing in the city of Malabar. There's rumors of her death being a cover up because of a local fire chief having a marijuana growing operation and she knew too much. Something about a love triangle. It would be cool if you put a spot light on that. There's been so many signs "where's bandy?" in the most random places. For years. Someone knows something. It's really sad. Recently, they attempted a dig up of the lake where they presumed her truck with her body was dumped but a detective said that they believe the local police didn't have the equipment to dig deep enough. In my County, or state rather (Florida go figure) finding accidental deaths in retention ponds is very common. This, however, was not an accident.

With Nathan, that is taken out of the equation because his emotions don't show externally. The law is supposed to be based on facts and evidence anyway, so it's actually helpful.
