    Do you think it would have been easier to pop ignition cylinder out and type the code in your dolphin to cut it? Sometimes door cylinder bitting isn’t same as ignition cylinder.

    Do you always check paperwork to make sure they’re the owners? Or just this once?

      Seguramente pide los papeles cuando va a abrir un auto que no tiene las llaves adentro. Tiene sentido, sino sería un robo jaja

    I hate that lishi out of them all. I usually just pick and pull the ignition. Put presure on the sidebar and pick the wafers until sidebar drops. Put in a key cut to 4 depth so you dont break the buzzer. Turn to acc position. Then hit the retainer. Keycode is usually on it. But if not its easily decoded. Not saying lishi isnt a good go to. I personally just think it sucks for that application. Plus im old.

      I'm new so still have alot to learn but I remember reading something about picking auto locks that have side bars but never really explained how or what to use to apply the pressure to the side bar. What exactly do you use to do that? Is there another tool to do that while applying turning tension, is it like a thin piece of metal that you slide between the cylinder and housing. Also I've never heard about using a 4 depth key, how would the buzzer break if you don't use one

      @@leonmatvich5059 use a broken pick and bend it a little. You will fave to figure out the curve on your own.

      @@leonmatvich5059 you can also bend a temporary key ring put a curl at the end you hold and a slight bend on the insert end. Don't use alot if pressure on the sidebar but enough to pick it when it drops you will feel it. You don't try turning the ignition until the sidebar drops. Then put in the key cut to #4 depth from cut 1 to cut 10. And when you turn the ignition you pull the tool you made out as you turn the ignition. There is a plastic thing that goes into a hole in the ignition that pushes a piece of metal down. When you put a key in it push the metal up which triggers the plastic switch that triggers the key buzzer. I can have most gm vehicles with this type of system unlocked and started in less than 60 seconds. And I broke nothing.

      @@michaelsmith4798I appreciate the info thank you. So is it the key itself that pushes the buzzer button up when inserted or the cuts on the blade have to be at a 4 to hit it right. Could you just use a blank key to push the button up? Now im curious if you use a jiggler key to pick it would it also lift the buzzer button up?

    How did the lishi tool stay in the rotated position? Did just jam the old lock? There is also a return spring there. Or is there a special trick to keep the lishi tool turned?

    • @UnlockedLocksmith
      @UnlockedLocksmith Před měsícem

      Depends on the vehicle, not all of them have springs. Or they have weak springs that don't reset all the way.
