    I agree with Spike how Fatal Push is just the nuts right now and would run the playset over some combo of bolts/heats

      It might be, but with a new meta on the horizon (pun intended), we don't know if that will be the case in a week. For instance if eldrazi, tron, and combo decks like buried alive phoenix and necrodominance become the norm, then fatal push is terrible. I like bolt week 1 because it gives us a proactive option in to a variety of decks.

    Deluge is a sweet card, but what are we bringing it in against? Hate to say that I don't really see what we'd need it for.
    I guess we won't know for sure what the meta will look like, but i'm not immediately thinking of something shadow struggles with that we'd want deluge for.

    • @TheNegoneco
      @TheNegoneco Před měsícem

      Eldrazi for one, sweeps up spawn tokens and can take out larger threats as well. Probably has utility against affinity decks too, I expect people are going to be trying out affinity now that Kappa Canoneer is in available.

    • @thecntrlfreak1347
      @thecntrlfreak1347  Před měsícem

      I think the early days of the meta will be a lot of prowess, fish, nadu, spike's RW lists, eldrazi, and other creature decks that having a sweeper against won't hurt.

    Street Wraith wouldn't be nearly as bad if you were going for delirium/traverse to tutor up those shadows.

    • @thecntrlfreak1347
      @thecntrlfreak1347  Před měsícem

      I agree that wraith is almost mandatory in most traverse builds. If you're talking about Jund, I think our threat density is good enough that we don't need traverse. It was definitely a staple when shadow/goyf were the only realistic threats and you had to find one of them to win. But we've been given some pretty decent options over the years to add to that.

    • @xportaleerx9287
      @xportaleerx9287 Před měsícem

      @thecntrlfreak1347 That's also true, but something we didn't really do with traverse in the past that's totally doable today would be to run that core and have a silver bullets package to go with it. Tutoring up a single Six or Grist out of the SB along with a slew of other things is pretty nice. 3 traverse is ideal I think. Want it in hand often enough but don't want to be flooded with 4! Anyway, I do like your list in general so good luck, and happy MH3!

      Haven't found a shell I like it in yet. I think the part about the raptor that gets overlooked is you have to cut for it, so either less threats or interaction. Which means there's going to be a number of games that you see less than you want of the one you need at the time you want to see it. It's a gamble card.

    These decks are completely outdated now. Game/(power) has moved on. I say this as someone who also made their own jank jund saga delirium list. MH3 is just so much more powerful, we're at the "16x MH3 cards or RIP bozo" stage.

    • @riotron1026
      @riotron1026 Před měsícem

      I disagree. I do believe there are some configurations out there for Shadow that can show some promise. I’m currently working on a Mardu Shadow list using Ranger Captain of Eos to tutor Shadow. New Goyf should be another excellent target for Ranger Captain. Chitonian Nightmare and Toxic Deluge should also prove to be solid inclusions. Nightmare as a great value engine to recur cheap and power threats as well and deluge to clear the board and swing in with huge shadows

    • @JJEMTT
      @JJEMTT Před měsícem

      @@thecntrlfreak1347 Yeah, it's a sample size of 1 playing a well configured deck against new decks that need a lot more work. Think DS and jund players are in for a rude awakening. Necrodominance and Toxic Deluge don't seem bad though, ngoyf seems very average tbh, maybe a slight upgrade but not going to save these decks from the new powerlevel/meta. But as you say, we'll see.
