I feel like the only reason it didn't get nuked from the inside is that there was no way to get gunpowder. If RT had built a secret room with chests full of gunpowder, redstone and TNT blocks it would've been a different story.
Roke Beedell True, those who pay to sub to support RT and his stream wouldn't necessarily want to grief (outside of the odd harmless practical jokes). There are the gifted subs who haven't paid anything themselves however who may feel differently. In general though I believe those that really bother to join the server, especially during these events, are those that enjoy RT's content & community and just want to have a good time with one another.

Everybody who participated in this is amazing. They either came up with some really funny and creative jokes, like labeling the bookshelves as titles to made up books, or they made really cool stuff through tedious work, like the lamp room or terraforming the outside.

I would legitimately love to see a server which is entirely underground with no set-up market, leadership, or food supply.Not allowed to go to the surface, and there is only one tree, 2 blocks of dirt, and some seeds to start with. I wonder far that would get, maybe doing that with like 50 people in total could be tons of fun!
That reminds me! there is actually an ENTIRE survival map where its just all underground. There are obviously pre-generated pockets with stuff that one would need etc and tall enough pockets to grow trees.
