Excellent! I have struggled with dubbing for years . Pinching hard with moistened finger tips is transformative.
Thank you! The struggle was real but now I feel very confident!
I have been looking for a video like this!!! So happy I ran across this! Thank you!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow thanks for this vid. I'm having trouble in keeping the dubbing wrapped around the thread. This will help me a lot. Thanks from the Philippines!
Thanks! That really helped. Now I can dubb properly!
Thnaks for the tip, It was kicking my butt...lol
Thank you first time doing dubbing and I made my best fly I’ve ever made😂😂😂
Great advice ! Thank you I was rubbing and twisting both directions ….🙏🙏
Nice, thanks a lot!!
Simple, informative and to the point. Great video. Was struggling with this today and knew I had to be doing something wrong. Thanks!
Question When you apply the dubbing are you holding the tag end of the thread to keep it taut?
Sure helped me tonight, thanks!
Thanks man, great information!
Very good video. Not squeezing the dubbing/ thread hard enough and using too much dubbing are my problems, so your video will definitely help with those. The one thing I noticed is that the thickness of your dubbing on the thread is between 1x and 2x the thickness of the hook shank, which is remarkably thin. If this is a rough guide then presumably this can be used for much smaller hooks.
Perfect. Exactly what i was lookimg for
Thank you for this vid. Answered a lot of questions for me.
Thank-you! Very helpful!
Thanks! I know this is an older video but I am starting to get further into tying and I have been stressed out about this. I had a feeling I was using too much because you demonstrated what happens to me when I try to add dub. I am just working on simple nymph patterns and wooly buggers.
Excellent dubbing tutorial!
Terrific instruction! I am new to tying, and have had the dubbing application all wrong!
