    Very good video. Not squeezing the dubbing/ thread hard enough and using too much dubbing are my problems, so your video will definitely help with those. The one thing I noticed is that the thickness of your dubbing on the thread is between 1x and 2x the thickness of the hook shank, which is remarkably thin. If this is a rough guide then presumably this can be used for much smaller hooks.

    Thanks! I know this is an older video but I am starting to get further into tying and I have been stressed out about this. I had a feeling I was using too much because you demonstrated what happens to me when I try to add dub. I am just working on simple nymph patterns and wooly buggers.
