Wow, really brings to light the mental struggle one might go through despite however much money they may earn.
Got to respect the guy for that. Really felt for him then. He was teetering on the brink with his mental health and one fortunate chain of events brought him back and gave him another few years. Crazy.
Derby fan here, and yeah we loved Sav when he made his comeback
II have so much respect for this man it's unreal hope he somehow reads this and understands what a Welsh Legend the bloke is
Didnt know he was a captain of a premier league club , glad he pointed it out
Paul Duffy Did he mention that? Must have missed that.
Paul Duffy lol me too! I wasn’t aware 😳
i guess im randomly asking but does any of you know a tool to log back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid forgot my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Alfonso Caspian instablaster :)
Savage gets a lot of stick but I personally love him. He's done incredible as a player with the ability he had and he's gone a lot further in the media post football than so called world class players. He's a good bloke.
A moving story. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Robbie and Mr Clough
Love Robbie savage
It's opinions like that are why you have no friends Dean
Great inspiring story above the skills of man management
Nigel Clough. We salute you!
Inspirational, Well done to all concerned!
Very good podcast
I didn't like the way he left blues, but the years we had him he was different class he would run everywhere and close people down and put players under pressure, he actually won player of the year I think and beat dugarry to it which is saying something on how he played for us that season. KRO
Sam Mullett his excuse was to be closer to his family despite going to a club further from his family mans a moron
Thanks..
Always remember when he signed for Derby, he came out to the car park saw the press and pretended to open the car door of a car like a Fiesta.
Everyone loves a good comeback story where the “Before” bit starts with driving a white Lamborghini
Freddie is funny! Astra’s and Fiesta’s 😆
6:00 - So Brent....
why would you give the money back?
'it's not as if you're rubbing their noses in it turning up in a Lamborghini is it'
Fucking died at that ...... hahaha love it Fred
1:35 😂😂
Get your subs up BBC
And I have to say, none of us are ever too old to learn (Even though we always think we know it all, hee hee)
Our entire lives are a learning curve.
The best footballer that Derby ever had. Legend.
At least he played at a certain level - remind us all what level you played ( truth news !! )
@@diamondgeezertunes What's that got to do with the price of fish?
What about dean ?
Jodie Jones You're either joking or you don't know anything about the history of the club. Archie Gemmill, Roy McFarland, Kevin Hector, Igor Stimac were all better, much better.
Against Norwich when Robbie Savage wasted time coming off as a sub and Simeon Jackson went up the other end in 90+ mins to make it 3-2. Thanks Robbie 🤙👍👍🤙💚💛
Up the Bradley
Bless me Father for I have sinned...We all grow up....even 66 yr olds...
I wonder if he ever captained a premier club🤔
Not sure if he mentioned he ever did. I'll re-watch it and let you know 👀
He captained at least 2 to my knowledge
Flintoff "To play for who?" 😂😂😂
I love that Freddie can’t help but point out it’s obvious you didn’t deserve what u had 😂 nice guy but you have to accept u stayed too long
24 grand a week n he would only 'work' 2 days
Thats obscene
monkeymagic436 well maybe if you were good at football you could do the same!
monkeymagic436 They work every day. Diet, fitness, sleep, training, videos of themselves and opposition, coaching etc.
And some earn 10-20x that now.
I'd a friend who played premier league and international. He wasn't allowed to drink, smoke or be out late in nightclubs. But he did all this things, so it hobbled his career.
@@ralph9182 haha . Same to you
@@Google_Does_Evil_Now haha
Look i know its a 'lifestyle' but that doesnt change my comment. 24k a week for properly two full days of training. Savage wouldn't have gone home n watched the opposition all day every day probably did an hour or 2 in the gym tops
monkeymagic436 I doubt it. Physio time, dietician chat, analysis, practicing set pieces, defensive-attack transition, learning group tactics, etc etc.
How do you think a defensive backline can keep itself in order if they don't practice?
Do you think a midfield-forward attack can be fantastic if they don't practice regularly so they know each other's responses very well?
If you want to win and be the best then I would expect it's most days of the weeks, early to bed, lie alcohol, good food etc etc.
I heard that Fergie when he came from Aberdeen changed manutd from a fry up in the morning to sardines on toast.
W A N K E R
Big ego
Trying to be a deep chat and Freddie coming in with his shite jokes that are not funny
