This beautiful Ombre Cheesecake is naturally colored with dried butterfly pea and made with part milk and cream cheese. It is creamy, irresistible, and so easy to make! The Blue cheesecake mix is made from butterfly pea flower that is grown in South East Asia. It has an earthy taste like matcha green tea powder. It has been gaining popularity for its ability to turn purple when an acid is added and turn back to blue when something basic is added.
The good news is, Butterfly pea flowers are also available outside South East Asia. You can buy from Amazon as a powder, but you can also buy the dried petals straight up. If you like the color of Butterfly pea flowers, you can buy some seeds and plant them in your garden since Butterfly peas are easy to taken care of!
