Thanks for video Bob! Now I can reset the airbag light on my 93 SW21. I replaced the steering wheel stock several years back. Thinking, I had a bad headlight switch, the high beams won't turn on, just the low beams.
I think I had a more serious issue with my airbag back in 2003 I just ended up taking the bulb out but I remember doing this trying to get rid of it. I remember the steering wheel being very heavy so I end up getting a grant one for 35 bucks back in the day drop 10 lb
Hi Bob, is it possible to minimize oversteer for the MR2, is it also possible to replace the power steering with a conventional hydraulic steering system?
@@BobPham Actually, the thing is, I'm considering buying a MR2 2.2L 1,993 98,000 miles. That's why I wanted your advice, the car is priced at $8,807 and it looks in good condition, except for an air conditioning leak. These points were told to me by the owner. Regarding the price; What do you think Bob, is it a good price or is it an overvalued price $8,807?
@@mjal1284 it’s what ever u feel comfy paying. 93na are going for 4-10k. Most importing thing are rust and accident. Go to my what I look for when buying mr2 video. Majority of the the turbo are 10k and up. These are want cars not need so finding one at a good deal will take time and patience’s.
@@BobPham Thanks Bob, I went to look at the car and had a mechanic check it out for me. The engine started instantly, chassis and body did not show rust, a little shoddy restoration job from a minor accident, inside and outside its condition is approximately 75%. It had some small things to repair, the most important things to repair would be the shock absorbers and the air conditioning. I asked for a discount on the price then, which went from $8,807 to $7,275. I didn't want to buy it :V
@@BobPham so, now we need to learn how car recognize the present airbag and mimic it. probably some kind of resistance or capacitor must be inserted in sensor wires.
Excellent! The diagnostic port method wasn't working on my GEN5 swap. This method worked. Thanks for the alternate method!
You da man, Bob Pham!

will this make it go away permanently if the airbag has been removed completely by an aftermarket wheel?
It will come back.

I pulled the ecub fuse in the Frunk fuse box to disable the airbag system for my track cars since I run racing steering wheel. Lights go away.
@@BobPham that disables all dash error lights though correct?
@@cartin50 only air bag light. It disable the whole air system.
I got tired of trying to reset it. I’ve been trying since the late 90s. I just pull the bulb.
How much can a mr2 sell for right now brother ?????? Do you sell supras bro ??💪🙏
