Here’s the history of this 1995 mr2 turbo and how I acquired got it.
This car was featured on Jay Leno Garage with James Humphrey from Donut Media and on Doug DeMuro. It’s currently on Cars and bids with couple days left as of 12/12/23.
I acquired this car with the help of an Mr2 enthusiasts Ryan P. who notify me of a nice red mr2 on an add of an rx7.
I contacted the seller Christopher C. of the rx7 to buy that red 1995T mr2. The red mr2 was original owner by a doctor who enjoy driving this car with full of receipts from the dealer. Christopher and I agreed on a purchased price, then had it shipped from Florida to California.
It was delivered late 2017 during Xmas time. Nothing much was done to the car besides regular maintenance like oil changes and wash. Mainly use for driving it to shows, meets and was stored away in the garage. I manage to put all the receipts in a folder with protective sleeves to preserved the documents and another pair of beige seats redone along with another 95 mr2 wheels redone to match the car. I also acquired some rare parts for the car as well like the Trd strut bars and jdm trunk mat.
In 2019 I had the car professionally detailed and ceramic coated by Richard from show car perfection in anaheim 5548 E La Palma Ave, Anaheim, CA 92807. I meant Richard while shooting Jay Leno Garage. His car was the red aw11. He did such an amazing job on a 25 year original paint. It came out better than when I first acquired it.
Fast forward to 2021, also in December was when I decided to sell and sold the car to Mr. Damien. During this time I was heavily focused on circuit racing my other Mr2s and felt that it’s time to sell this car to fund those projects to race them. I wouldn’t dare to race this car since it has so much history behind it.
