Great video. A lot easier than I thought. Thanks for all the info.
Thanks for the very helpful video. I just want to replace the bushes and track rod ends but it’s really good to see how the whole steering rack fits in.
Hi Bob, love your videos and how it supports the mr2 community. I am just wondering if you have ever did a K swap on a gen2. Thanks
Glad to help. No sorry I don’t. If I do, It will most likely for my Spyder. Mainly for road racing purpose
Nice information this helps out allot just wondering if you had a 5sfe short blocks around maybe for sale?
Sorry. No 5s
Bob, appreciate this video. What kind of shop does steering rack rebuild and is it available locally or does it need to be send out? Does the Spyder pinion rack just bolt on? Do you have list of parts needed for rebuild?
In addition, I noticed my steering wheel vibrate when I go past 60 MPH, I wonder if this also related to problem in steering rack assy. I had the wheels balance already.
Get hub centric spacers and get new tie rods and ball joints. Then bolt check everything especially the control arms to body
Gear from zzw will fit into ps sw20 only.
Wheel shake
Tie rods
Wheel Bearings
Rotors
Wheels bent or out of balance
I brought it to a local shop James auto center that rebuilt alxes and steering rack. U can yelp it near u

Hey Bob. I’m trying to swap out my E153 open diff for LSD. I have the LSD but need the white nylon speedometer gear and snap ring. Toyota discontinued these parts. Any idea where I can find them, or if there is a workaround? Any help is greatly appreciate. I love your videos!
