@@jptothetree DH courses like these are very easy when going at normal speed, just your average double black tech trail. Pro riders are going insanely fast, so that's what makes it seem higher difficulty. I could make it down without crashing, but I'm not going mach 5

I rate the last guy Julias Trujillo a 10/10. Perfect execution and a nice gift to us ending with the "Sleeping Man" with one foot on the pedal. Never before attempted but today he executed that move phenomenally!

Slow motion is good to see:
1. Hands are the 1st to absorbe the impact of the fall
2. Legs are following with not so more arithmetic hits on the knees.
Plasticity of the body and bones helps a lot but protection could be critical in some case. Especially for the elbows.
After the initial hit on the hand palm, the hand usually slides on the ground. On the dirt is no problem but on stones / rock garden or paved road the impact to the bones will be different even when just sliding. Rock garden will tend to firm stope the sliding when a taller rock is on the way of sliding.
Use protection. :-)
