URŠLJA GORA (Slovenian mountain) Hiking trip 2023

Uršlja gora or Plešivec is a scenic mountain between Slovenj Gradec and Črna na Koroška. At the top, or a little below it, stands the church of St. Uršula, which is the highest church in Slovenia. At the top, there is not only a church, but also a pleasant mountain lodge, in front of which there are a large number of benches and tables. From the house, we can also climb to the top of Uršlja Gora, which is less than five minutes away, on which there is a cross and a viewing panel. Transmitters are placed between the home and the peak, which are visible from almost all neighboring peaks. Uršlja gora is a popular excursion spot also among cyclists, as a forest road that is closed to traffic leads to the top.
