People my age were so lucky to grow up with this music!! The album Abraxas is a masterpiece !!!!!!!!!!!!’ Luv Santana nobody plays like Carlos
I've listened to this song my entire (no joke) life. Love, love, love.
When we were kids, our dream was to smoke pot, sit in the sun, drink lambrusco, and listen to Santana. I'm not sure we were wrong.
Beautiful music that I've known and loved for 55 years... and a chance to see Fay enjoy it too. What could be better? Peace, love and bellbottoms (from Canada).
My favourite version, of all the ones I’ve heard. Is Mexico 93 version. Because it’s so beautiful.
👍🏽
This is an extremely beautiful song. The first time I heard it. I was hooked......Carlos is a bad man.....
great to see Gregg Rollie on Keyboards, Love Carlos!
Samba Pa Ti loosely translates to " A dance for you ." The studio album version is one of my favorite instrumentals. He passed out on stage about 2 weeks ago. He is 75 years old now.
I agree. The studio version is what I learned to play back in the early 70s and will always be my favorite.
Wow! Nice hairdo Fay! Samba Pa Ti is one of the original "chillin' on a warm sunny day" songs. The "1966" part more likely applies to whomever posted the video. The performance looks to be from sometime in the last two decades. Looking for it, yep, the performance is from The House of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada, 2016.
The 1971 album 'Abraxas' (Santana's 2nd and groundbreaking album) is well worth a listen and helps contextualise the song 'Samba pa Ti' . Stand out tracks are 'Black Magic Woman and Oye Como Va. However for an electrifying Santana experience please react to Th live Woodstock concert performance of 'Soul Sacrifice'
Carlos Santana, The Godfather of Latin Rock.
Santana and this song came out of the 60s ~ their performance at the Woodstock festival in 69 was incandescent. This is from a few years ago
Hello Fay 😍🔥loved your reaction to the great Carlos Santana 🎸
Nice hairdo Fay. Great reaction to the great Santana.
Please take a look on Carlos Santana with his friend the amazing John McLaughlin one of the greatest guitarists in the world!!
Have you ever thought about playing the drums or percussion before Faye? As you instantly heard when Macras came in
Mike Scott
Long way to the light.
