Instead of blacksmith reloading for that perfect torso, you can complete the "Prodigal sons return" quest in Korinthia. Just make sure to get both chestplates and give the sons the cheap one! Blacksmith reloading can be really annoying.
When I originally played the game, I did all assassin damage as base perk, then all critical chance and damage as I could get with epic items. If not possible, I'd go for all damage, and then I had a bunch of abilities, so I ended up with a build that used the 50% assassin damage, which becomes all damage perk with 950% crit damage and 100% crit chance. With two engravings and 20 points have 100% chance to ignore half damage as well.
Another awesome video. You could also do the tomb in Naxos after you collect the Procrastinate Now Ostraka, but of course that’s optional.

i followed the video and finally got the build. I am at lvl 23. It is powerful build but I feel like it is a glass canon. There was a time that I was killed by rooster :). Also when surrounded by crowd, it is hard to survive even if I have battlecry. I think it might be more practical to drop the -100% all resistance engraving at the cost of lowering damage.

Awesome video. Appreciate it. I'm level 36 and I started using this build. Had to use a different sword but for some reason it took away my full 4 health bars and now I only have 1. Other 3 are red.

I want to add one thing in this, when you go to a very small island 02:33 ( island of Poseidon there is an chest surrounded by lions, sneaking through them open the chest and youll get Poseidon trident. Ability to breathe underwater.)

Absolutely love this, but i think using the blade of yummines for 250% all dmg w/o abilities instead of the +100% damage -25% health engraving is much much better for conquest battles and overall damage.
I have been grinding like a maniac for the past days to achieve this build and finally did it. Unfortunately, FOR ME, it works very poorly on conquest battles. Even though im doing significant damage, single-shot killing generals and just destorying the battlefield, i always end up gettiging killed by a random arrow or a third guy sneaking behing me when I'm trying to shot a general....
For the purpose of the full game, i think its "stupid" on my part to simply go withou abilities (specially since not only funcional, they are very FUN) so i dont recommend it for an "always on build" but for conquest battles.... easy easy choice

I wonder about using 25% health capped engraving with Second Wind skill. Percent healing calculates from 25%-capped health bar or 100% health bar.
Second wind will still only heal half of your health at level 3. You can use the torch glitch to instantly fully heal.

currently following the guide, and i have to say, im impressed. even if its the first time i played this game and immediately setting it to nightmare, all the engravings and recommended equipments really work well together. that said, i still cant get the 30% armor penetration engrave as always keep getting sidetracked from doing the main quests.
is there another build for future levels though? im currently on the way to hit lv.30 and was wondering if there were more recommendations for the future level ranges.

Great build - and fun to annihilate everything. Even without the Korfu engravements since I want to complete the game first. I didn't know about Heitor's Harpe, so I missed that, but I had a Ritual Blade with the exact same stats as Heitor's. Lucky co-incidence.
you can just run through and grab the engravings. treat it like just another island. that's what i did. i talked to barnabas, got all the engravings, and then left.

Damn it, man.. I just sold all my stuff that had two different primary damages on the same item, because of your new video. Such as assassin and warrior.
That is completely ok, the item used in the free variant was not perfect anyway. You should get a torso with warrior damage, critical damage and all damage. You can get Diokles armor from the brothers seduction quest.
@@T7PDM I gave Diokles armor to his son for the burial. Just like I gave Harpes sword to Harpe.
Starting this build soon, hitting level 22 in a few more levels. Decided to prep by blacksmith resetting for the breastplate and boy I got lucky in 30 minutes.

I just came back to odyssey hadn’t played since it first came out. Been messing around with different builds been having a surprising amount of fun with zero abilities using then 250% dmg boost with no abilities engraving. Tons of crit dmg and crit change and doing on average 300k fire headshots with either a fire infused bow or hades bow. And then if somehow they survive that then the fire dmg ticks for both 8k and 40k depending on if it’s critting the fire dmg or not. Bit usually they die in first headshot anyways. Considering trying a different build with abilities though. Oh and I’m only lvl 70
300k fire headshots is the same as you can deal on level 20 with a devastating shot or predator shot.
I must disappoint you that your build is actually far from being good. Using the Blade of Yumminess beyond level 20 will dramatically reduce your damage.

Hey, short question: i watched this video and for preperation your level 55 build guide, which is 1 year old. Of course you found out some new OP mechnics for this level 22 so my question is do i use this level 22 build with the same gear at level 55 now and only switch some of the perks from your old level 55 guide?
The level 55 build also contained a free version, you can make it as shown, only thing to change would be to add the headshot engraving somewhere.
I would advice not to use the axe anymore due to its fiddly mechanics.

This built is amazing! I am on level 36 and it still works great. Do you recommend keeping this build past level 40 and all the way to level 55?
Use it until you can make the level 55 build. Just upgrade your left weapon and your bow, nothing else needs an upgrade.
Followed your free version down to a T however not sure how I feel about 100% damage but health capped to 25%. I tried it out but just wasn't for me. While I try my best to use my arrows the whole time, sometimes they just get too close to me and one or two-shot me. Don't even have the time to use my healing ability or the torch heal. What would be your recommendation for an engraving in place of that?
You should use battlecry in close combat, to become invincible and use the 100% damage engraving again, because with the -100% resistance from the other engraving it doesnt matter how much health you have, the enemies will still kill you in two hits. So you dot have any additional negative effect from having a reduced health bar.
The game will always prevent you from getting killed in a single hit. If you use battlecry and heal yourself consistantly you can take much more hits.

hey quick question, would the achillies bow work just as well as the big horn bow, it has everything except it swaps the 15 percent adrenaline on headshot kill with 2% crit, plus the achilles bow has a 20 percent damadge with devastating shot added on top of everything else
The bighorn bow is a glitched item that adds all its DPS to your left melee weapon, literally doubling the DPS of your left melee weapon. Any other bow is just trash. Use your free credits to get the bighorn bow. If you have already spend them, its your own fault that you just got some shitty transmog for it.

@@T7PDM pretty sure that's not the case anymore, I have the BHB, and my LH sword damage isn't even close to that (I'm level 22 currently)...
@re3945 Make sure you make the build correctly as shown in the video and dont put some trash together. Bighorn bow multiplies your damage by a factor of 1.6x if your damage and your build is shit, it will multiply only shit. Just make the damn build exactly as shown and you get exactly the same results.

All 10 important Ostrakas are shown in the video. If you cant find them, you can google them. You have to collect the tablet first and then go to the location to solve them.

@T7 Just a quick question (I can't seem to find unambigious explanation about that) - what is the first and the second number under the Warrior Damage on the Inventory page? When I reverse the weapons in the left and the right hand these numbers change dramatically.

Its left and right melee weapon, dude. We dont need to debate this. If you disagree, you just fundamentally misunderstand the game. Before you unlock the second weapon at level 15, you have only one number. If you dont believe it, just quickly start a new game. The values are different because the bighorn bow amplifies your left weapon , no matter what you put in there. You have to close the menu and reopen it if you change your weapons for the game to recalculate the damage and show the correct values. You will die just as fast at full health due to the -100% negative resistance. You can use Battlecry or just avoid close combat. The game never kills you in a single hit, just dodge and heal yourself until you are back at full health (25%). then you can take another hit.

thanks for the videos they help out. Quick question how rare a chest piece with those engravings from a blacksmith is. I been reloading a save for 2 hours now with double inv and still have not seen one. Might just be a bad run of luck just want to make sure I'm not doing it wrong

I used your early build and absolutely destroyed everything so i know this level 22 build got to be good.

how do you get the engraving for Heito's sword
So I have everything the same that you do is those huge numbers only expected when you crit, when I’m not criting im hitting around 30k
Yellow numbers are crits and the hits I made are perfect hits from behind with active fire damage. It can be exactly reproduced as shown in the video.

Yes, exactly that is the plan. However you only have to level up your armor once or twive at level 41 and 51 for example. The armor value doesnt matter and the engravings only increase every 10 levels anyway.
The left weapon and the bighorn bow should be upgraded every 5 levels. The offhand weapon every 10 levels.
Make sure you dont forget to upgrade the bow, it adds its DPS to your left weapon, so upgrade it every time the you upgrade your left weapon.
Where can I find the Ezio Roman and Northern Traveller set?
Do I have to pay to get it? (I know you told it was free in the video, but I’m confused)..
These sets are added to your inventory when you start playing the game. You just have to install Ubisoft club. On consoles it works automatically and you dont have to do anything. A legal copy of the game is required of course.
Curious. Why do you use a full legendary set instead of just the set engraving (since some of the bonuses are wasted, like the health bonus)? Are there no better armor combos?
This is a level 22 build, it is very hard to get the correct gear on lower levels since blacksmiths have almost no epic items at that level. Just check the higher level builds, when you reach the higher levels.

I have seen several of your end game build videos, which probably contributed to my assumption that there would be better gear to use, and i have probably less than 500 hours total in the game, so i am actually ignorant, not just playing ignorant. :) I have finished the build, except that i am behind on my upgrades, and it is impressive as always.
The builds are amazing I've watched a bunch of the videos but strangly I have everything on in this video but level 25 bow devastating shot is only hitting for 60k on a crit
Select the correct melee weapon when shooting arrows, the one with the higher damage value, upgrade all your abilities, watch the complete video.
Use the ability sixth sense when there is an exclamation mark over the enemy your damage is doubled.

Im running the dagger of Kronus instead of the axom is that fine or do you reccomend the sword instead?
You have to use two perfect swords to maximize your damage with swords, And only the left weapon gets amplified by the Bighorn bow, so you only play with one weapon anyway.
I took the routes before level 22 currently lv 13 but those sharks skinned me alive! It be usefull to have the Triton of Poseidon 😅. Glad I got to play it again from lv 1 again I noticed the big hunt bow gave me 0 hunter damage somehow

The game does not use your hunter damage when you use this bow, so its completely irrelevant wether its 0 or not.

In the Warrior ability tab, you have a ability that I don’t have. It’s above Ring of Choas. That area is blank for me
Its form the legacy addon, if you dont have it, you can use Hero strike.

Dont waste your time grinding materials or money you will get millions in seconds later in the game.

Yes, absolutely, just upgrade your left weapon and your bow every 5 levels, you dont have to upgrade your armor until level 51.

You can get everything again in a new game plus.
You can get swords with the same engravings from the blacksmith, the swords are not unique.

The a friend in need quest appears after completing the Symposium in Athens, how to get armor penetration was shown in the video, there is a whole chapter for it.
also if i buy more abilities will the build still work or do i have to stick to the ones showed in the video
Of course you can use other abilities, but the ones used are the best.

Because you dont understand that having high crit chance triples your damage instead of the stupid 1% warrior damage you used before. Just make the build exactly as shown, use the bighorn bow and the Korfu engraving and dont skip the abilities, as they are just as important.
Do i buy the bow at the start or at level 21 and should i put difficulty at nightmare
The item will match your level, when you buy it. The difficulty does not change anything, but the game will be very easy even on nightmare.

What engraving can be exchanged to avoid the Health cap, I know it won’t be the perfect build if I change it
It actually dioesnt make a difference if you have 25% health or 100% as long as you still use the Korfu engraving you will likely die in 2 hits anyway as you take so much damage from it. So using the 25% health is abusing the fact that you dont die in a single hit anyway and is the much smarter choice.

Im wondering, i just started this game. When i attack a ship how do i let the npc,s help me with the attack to jump into the enemies ship. Or is this the purpose for them doing nothing?
You have to fully kill the ship, then instead of sinking it immediately you can decide to board it, if you carefully sail close to it.
I would not recommend doing that at all. It means another fight versus over 10 enemies and just takes a lot of time for 2-3 random items, which will be garbage anyway.
Just sink them right away and dont care about the loot. You will not get perfect items from looting, you should use the blacksmith for that anyway.

Definitely not, dude. We use 10% crit chance. There is no reason to get or use a 30% damage engraving when you already have hundreds of damage from much more powerful engravings. You have to make them crit more often and more consistantly to get a higher average damage.

Wait a sec walking through getting the stuff for my character and im on the head engraving. I completed the one but i dont see it in my engravings. Did several more and nothing. Do i have to complete ALL Ainigmata Ostraka riddles before I get the one you said to put on the helmet??
Im talking about the "10% crit at full health" I even tried buying a head piece from the store that had it and thought maybe i can apply it if i had a piece with it. What am I missing?
@@Firefighter3476 You solve the riddles by going to the location and interact, not by only collecting the tablets. Check the collection guide at the end of the video.
Do you have to be Kassandra for the Message, the Stick and the Artist quest? I’ve only seen videos with her as the player and I can’t find anything that really answers that question.

That item is already used and its much smarter to put it on your armor as it was shown.
I have nemenian lion (donate set) but which build is better free or donate ? Same as 55lvl build with typhon axe or free with spartan hero set

It is a random piece you can get anytime at the blacksmith. Use the Ezio torso instead.
I wanted to follow your guides but what should I do if kephalonia is plagued? Does it still work?
The Korfu island quest is unlocked after speaking to Stentor in Megaris no matter what you did on Kephallonia.
If you dont have the quest, make sure you have the latest game version installed.
My build only does 10k per hit and I have everything you said to put on and I dint really like the health capped to 25% is there an alternate way
Make the build correctly and engrave it corrrectly, use the bighorn bow, the korfu engraving solve your ostrakas and use all the abilities shown. Then you will deal the same damage.
