Man, that part where Alexios kills Myrrine and Kassandra gets vengeance on him is some seriously powerful stuff. Extremely well written, animated, voice-acted, just an excellent scene.

@@okami9039 I guess it's well animated compared to the rest of the game. You could see that the entire scene was done in mocap as opposed to the generic dialogue animations you usually see in game.
I played as alexios...but for demois character kassandra was very opted one...but i didn't killed anyone..and make them as my ship crew✌️😂

Somehow it feels right when everyone is Killed feels like a real tragedy which makes the game more realistic
So in the end kassandra / Alexios are just left with their crew and a few friends like Hippokrates and sokrates.

The Man With No Name I agree with him. In the atlantis episode that weird holo woman even says to kassandra that she has to learn to deal with looses and the game is somewhat sad and the sad ending fits perfectly because their is not always a happy end.

Yes you can. Though it doesn’t matter if you choose Kassandra or Alexios, you will get the exact same story. If you choose Alexios, then Kassandra will be the villain. If you choose Kassandra, Alexios will be the villain.

@@moonthehuman they're both the same character, they lead the same story and have the same personality, lines, and choices. So saying one character is better than the other than the other is illogical, because they are objectively the same character. The og commenter said she didn't play as Alexios so this i think it's best that she knows this.
The plus side if you save your sibling, Diemos becomes your best fighting partner when you use the Call to Arms command. In fact he can wipe out Elite enemies on his own and deliver a serious beating on Mercenaries.
This makes me happy that I somehow managed to get the ending with everyone alive as a family again. I played as Alexios, so Kassandra and Stentor started wrestling like siblings. I guess I made all the right choices, even though it seemed like I was constantly messing up in the dialogue.

I let nikolaos live. I thought he was my father at the time. I wasnt going to kill my own father. I didnt have to kill or even have a fight with stentor either, since I let nikolaos live. I also let diemos live, since she was my sister after all. i was playing as alexios, so kassandra was diemos. in the end, the whole family was still alive, except alexios' real father.
I let Nikolaos live but I sawed the wolf off his helmet and made him wear it without. The wolf I stuck on the hood of my VW Jetta.
I killer nikolaos to get revenge on the guy who tried to murder me and my sister
I always spare Nikolas, it's a good choice.
This game gets me messed up in my feels man. Kassandra has gone through so damn much. Such a sad and stoic badass. A lone wolf demigod on her own path 😤🔥
Having played the family ending seeing the ending with Kassandra alone at the table just breaks my heart. I know it sounds crazy, but I became so starched to Myrrine and I actually love her so much, It actually hurt my heart to see her go

The actual option is either taking the staff by force or to convince him to give you the staff. He dies either way, because the staff is the only thing keeping him alive after 100 or so more years.
Simply, the violent option, or the non-violent option.

It's hard to decide whether reuniting the family or the family being destroyed are the right choices. For me personally, I'd go with the family being destroyed. It brings a better and darker story for her.

I really hope the next AC game fixes the damage sponge issue. I’m sorry, for a game trying to be as historically accurate as possible and as realistic as possible there is no way any enemy can take that many slashes from a sword or spear and be standing or alive. I miss the Ezio gameplay days. Even Unity (and i know that one gets a lot of hate) had probably the best attack and parry systems to date. I was so disappointed with Odyssey that no longer will I go out and buy another AC game on release day without first hearing reviews and checking what improvements have been made.
Then you did something wrong, unless you meant only Bosses or something, with my build with 2handed axe and a bit of fire dmg, i almost one shot everything, on Hard difficulty
I agree that the damage sponges are lame, but this is not a game at all worried about being realistic lmao. But for sure, the fights in the game are way too long.

I can mostly kill instantly all of the enemies, except elites and bosses. Maybe you did wrong on your build. Your gear matters. Always get a gear with crit chances and crit damages, crit damages while full health, crit chances while full health. Don't put on Total Health and Armor, instead make yourself a melee, range, and elemental resistances, that will matter alot 100 percent Melee resistance will make you literally invulnerable on melee, no damage will be acquire, you'll be OP. Been there.

As much as I liked the happy ending, everyone dying is just so befitting of Greek stories. Just seems canon to me that Kassandra would be at the dining table by herself in the end. It also makes more contextual sense that she'd settle for that wet napkin Natakas to try to replace her own lost family, only for her to lose it all again LOL

Watching lots of AC ending cutscenes and of course everyone talks about who is "better" as who between Alexios and Kassandra as Deimos or Protag, particularly when Deimos kills their mother. I like look at the small things personally!
Listen closely and you'll hear them softly whimper "No" after Deimos says "Maybe we should have both died here that day". Kassandra's VA does a better job with the surprised horror with that one. Alexios's VA does a better job with what I would call righteous anger with his cry.
I don't know I just hate seeing so much hate for one VA or the other. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. You have to look for nuances of both. At the end of the day, the are both genuinely pleasant to listen to imo.

There are two endings: if Myrrine dies, Kassandra (or Alexios) kills Deimos without a fight and it's just in the cutscene. If Myrrine lives, the fight scene happens and you have to work to kill Deimos.

I don't get how people think this and origins are weaker games in comparison to the others, maybe they aren't playing it the way it was meant to be played. They are AMAZING.
Nostalgia. I have played all the AC games and while I loved 2, Brotherhood, Black Flag, and Rogue they are not better than Odyssey and/or Origins.
4 years late but, they are terrible AC games. But daaamn it was a great game. Reminded me why I loved the witcher 3. The "assassins creed" lense is what breaks the deal. Tbh it IS one of the better adventure rpgs out there

Getting the 'good ending' for Dimos is more complicated than shown her though, you need to be very careful with diolog in earlier cutscenes, particularly when in jail.
My second melee item is my fists, but couldn't fight Diemos without killer *her* / him
