MUST VISIT Upstate New York in the Fall | Saratoga Springs Weekend Trip

- I am slowly getting caught up on editing all of my footage from this past fall! What with moving, traveling back to Seattle, and the holidays, there's a lot ☺️ Hopefully you all are down for more fall in New York content as there's a bit more coming after this.
A few weeks after we moved into our apartment in NYC, we took a long weekend trip out of the city to go leaf peeping in Upstate New York. We took the Amtrak train and it took us about 4.5 hours from NYC to Saratoga Springs. We were a little bit too early to catch peek fall colours, but it was still a fun little adventure and we enjoyed exploring the town, being in nature, bike riding, and some very yummy food. If you are looking for a leaf peeping adventure from NYC that's doable without a car, we would highly suggest checking out Saratoga Springs (although, learn from our mistakes and either rent a car or schedule a taxi drop off/pick up if you do the local train ride 😅).

My husband and I drove through Saratoga Springs last October. It was one of like 5 stops as we were moving from Omaha to Maine. We stayed in several states along the way and one of those was NY at SS. We spent only one night but omg, I've never seen another town like it in all my life. It was so quaint and the medians were all decorated for fall. The architecture was so unique and the place had a vibe that I still haven't forgotten. Ngl, I think about that sweet little town a lot. I do think one has to be quite wealthy to live there, though. The whole area of Upstate NY was just stunning! I thought Maine was beautiful...but NY has a charm and beauty wholly unique to it alone.

Wow! That was the best 'under 10min' introduction to Saratoga Springs I think I've ever seen! You guys did a great job capturing the highlights! I lived there and still spend a lot of time there. You could make an hour long video and still only scratch the surface of what all there is to see and do in Saratoga. Thank You for sharing - the sound and video quality was very good.
