I did not know about Surinder Kaur or Shiv Kumar Batalvi until saw this video couple of years ago. We didn't get see the legends but your are doing great job sharing the treasure. We owe it to our peers and our future generations to introduce them to such remarkable pieces of Art.

@@NickKler you are right dear friend both in my humble view this can be used for both hakiki and majazi ishq...so for those who are not so deep at the stage of their journey starting of with mijazi ishq would be the obvious interpretation

Punjabi sangeet di khasiyat taa is gaanay vich hain hi, but According to me... this is also a true rock song in punjabi, years before rock music was created itself. This song and singer were both way ahead of their time. Not only is her voice soft and flexible but powerful as well and gives goosebumps... and lyrics are of course genius !
