In case you're wondering why loads of Germans are commenting on your video, one of the hosts of Germany's biggest podcasts mentioned how much he's enjoying watching your channel while he's on tour. He spoke about this video in particular and how he had to laugh that you had to visit a sorry-looking Christmas market and drink white wine (Glühwein should traditionally be made with red wine). I've been to Freiburg's Christmas Market and it tends to be livelier in the evenings. This year's market was different as they spread the stalls across the town, making the market seem quieter. Anyway, hope you enjoyed your visit!

I lived in Freiburg for a summer and this made me so nostalgic for it. I hope I can go back someday!
Fun fact: there’s a superstition that if you step in the Bächle in Freiburg (the little water channels that run in between the street and sidewalks), you’ll marry a Freiburger and return to live there
