I got this watch for Christmas 2020. I bought it in Casio Store Costa Rica and seems I was very lucky since it is difficult to find at retail. Really happy with it, tough for outdoors, but also you can wear it for casual events.
Bought the Olive green version (GA2110-3A) on boxing day. Love the fit on my wrist and like you pointed out a great piece for the collection. Also looking at housing it in the 3rd gen Casioak metal case & strap..identical to AP 🤫👍🏼
After ages of waiting, finally got hand to this beauty in the month of August, my first G-Shock and a good one, unlike the bulky, fancy and tasteless other line up
It's a slippery slope. Got the blue-gray. Then I spotted a stealth at a fair price. Then the pure gray got discontinued so I had to strike quickly.....
Bought the transparent version (black dial) This is my first G-Shock and I love it. A: This watch is meant for outdoors. Inside, it can be a bit dull and in dim light difficult to read anything but the hands. Outside, it really bursts into a bold three-dimensional display. I would have liked lume on the markers, but I can tell the time without them. B: Amazingly comfortable. It fits perfectly on the arm, and I can wear it a notch looser than other straps. It never slides side to side or up and down. (All my Casio's feel great on my wrist.) Paid a little more on eBay, but the seller wasn't out to gouge and I really wanted it for the summer - happy I pulled the trigger.
I don't get it... Even the gap around the mineral is not even everywhere. How and why would you market a product with bulging plastic around? Money wasted imho.
If you ask me : a piece of ugly, cheap, plastic rubbish.But there obviously are a lot of people who like it ;as they sold a lot of them.I would much rather wear nothing and use my phone than have this on my wrist. What’s the point? If you are going to strap something to your wrist , let it be something decent ...Life is too short for such horological insignificance.
I have quite a few decent watches...as you say...but there are many occasions where you don't want to wear a decent watch, because you are afraid of damaging it. That's where a sleek, stealthy G-Shock Casioak comes into play. A watch that literally can't break, but still looks a lot better than the other unbreakable alternatives.

Bought 4 but unfortunately not black yet. Bought Red, Blue from G-shock Canada, Yellow from Japan and Green from England. Yellow is by far the best

I bought it in Prouds in Sydney CBD for $240 about 6 weeks ago. They had about 3 variants in the window. I'd had my eyes on it for 3 or 4 weeks.
I bought three of them. B&W, Camo and Yellow. Great watches.

I can wear g-shock square on my 6.5 inch wrist (and love them). But I’m frustrated that this is just a little too big for me - because it’s so nice!

did the straps became yellowish?
any issues with yellowing? That's the key thing holding me back from getting the transparent because they do look amazing

I have all black model. Fantastic watch for only 120€. I have 2 Omega's and 1 Cartier but i love this Casio just as like those, expensive watches.
