I've owned this plugin for quite sometime now and honesty... i can't believe it is not talked about and used alot more. Amazing tones and features for a very affordable price, no need to sell a kidney on the black market to achieve sickness. It's been a staple ever since i purchased it. Definitely in my top 3 amp sims.
Ive been using this for a while now and i love it. I'm glad to see it cropping up on your radar!! They also do a free plug in called Goblyn which pairs lovely with this
My gripes with this plugin is that the preamp models (colors) arent labeled in the plugin as to what theyre modeled after. It says so in the manual though. Also, they should have included an octaver rather than having a secret octaver in the eq section thing. I only have the ipad version of this plugin but it has all the same functionality and just sounds great. I got a killer 80s arena rock ryhtmn tone with it!
Yo rob Arnold so I just joined this band and they use the mammoth and I want my tone to sound good live how can I make my bass tone sound like the plug in live? Cause when I play along with the track with my amp it don’t really sound right?
I really don't have a solid answer for you unfortunately. The Mammoth is a plugin, and I don't think they make a hardware version. A lot of guys are using and loving the Neural DSP Darkglass stuff live, and it sounds great. I've also always liked the SansAmp tech 21 live. Both the Darkglass and the SansAmp are available in pedal form, and will probably give you the sounds you're looking for.
@@RobArnoldWorld well I get best results if I put both output from the darkglass into my daw and the on the one that isn’t the xlr output I put the parallax on it. Would I be able to show the sound guy the parallax settings and get him to eq one output that way???
Hmm I'm not sure, and I guess there's only one way to find out! In my experience though, if you don't have your own dedicated sound engineer, and rely on the house guy, I find it best to show up ready and to have as little variables as possible. When you bring in computers or interfaces, and ask the sound guy about specialty EQ, in a bar type setting, with quick change overs in between bands, you're potentially opening up a can of worms. Best to have everything completely dialed in on your part, and have YOUR sound ready to go, without the help of anyone else. @@creepymcpeepers
Hi Rob, I have a question about your signature LTD's: We're discussing about endorsement in ESP. where they produce signature guitars. So it's clear about your ESPs RA (which were made in Takada CS) but what about LTD's prototypes ? Did they made in WMI factory in Korea and have an korean serial number or it were made in Japan CS and have Takada\tech house serial? Or maybe has no serial number at all. I'm asking about it because a lot of rumors that LTD prototypes for endorsers were made in custom shop (some one even tell that it's made in USA) Thanks for answer, Dillinger
Hey man, so all 5 of my custom shop ESP's were made in Japan. All of my RA-600 prototypes were made in Korea, as well as all of the RA-600 production models. All of them have serial numbers and country of origin listed on the headstock.

I love my Aurora DSP Rhino, but it seems to hate External IRs. Whenever I resume a project on Studio One 5, it resets the IRs which is really annoying.
Hey man- I ended up reaching out to Aurora about this since you weren't the only one to mention it, and they said that yes, some Windows users are experiencing an issue where the full list of presets isn't available. They're working on a patch update right now, and that fix will be available soon! Please stay tuned!
Honestly, I dunno man! I think it's worth just checking out the free trials on any of the plugs you're interested in. My honest opinion is that you can make any of these plugins sound great with some tweaking and a little know-how. But some plugs make it easier than others... And as you can hear/see with the Rhino, that monstrous rhythm preset sounded great right off the rip!

The amount of usable plugins these days is impressive. This sounds fantastic. Love the Monstrous Rhythm and old School Death Metal tones.
