What’s advice to identify a good custom home builder? I’m on the other side of the divide from you in Colorado. About to jump into custom home journey.
Hellooooo. I'm not as proficient when it comes to custom. You may want to post on your social media accounts to see if anyone you know has built custom & see if they'd recommend the builder they used. Sorry, I wish I could give you more.
@@TyWilde you’re all good. And an amazing resource regardless. Husband and I are barely big enough to dip our toes in the custom home world. Not huge “California or Texas” pockets so we are doing everything super careful. There is so much in the mtns just west of Denver and people who started to build but ran out of money. So I am trying to triple check everything.
@@leighannebrown-pedersen7536 yeah, building custom can be scary. You may prefer to find a good semi custom builder and up one of their plans a little. The good ones will let you change pretty much anything you want and pricing is usually a little easier to figure.
Thank you for this information, it is really helpful; however, of all the builders you covered, especially Toll Brothers, I would have to pass on. I will be purchasing a new home next year but I will not consider any of the builders you mentioned. I don't trust companies who don't care about reviews and I find that most people are too lazy to put out a proper review.
