What should someone’s resume look like to get interviewed at builder?
Some builders prefer brand new agents so they can train them without bad habits. Others want experience. I would just apply for all the builders I like & be confident in your interview. Where are you located?

So I just signed with Lennar, but one of their 3D printed communities. I’m concerned about build quality but it also looks like they’re mainly just a middleman by subcontracting Icon. Can I trust this?

My biggest fear would probably be the house not being sold. As the builder, would you still get a check, or do you get screwed over?
If I understand correctly... if a builder builds a house for someone & the buyer backs out, the builder will keep all of the buyer's deposits.

Excellent question, but impossible to answer as I used about 8 different homes to shoot this video. Not too mention, I shot this video over a year ago & things have changed.

What about the permits and stuff? Constructing a house is one thing. Legalizing it is another. Do you need to get a permit from the state/city-planning? And how do you acquire an official address, set up the water company to supply you with water, and same for electrical power & internet companies?
My girl and I left San Diego two years ago for NC. We moved because we want(ed) to buy a home on LAND and CA is super expensive! The current mortgage rates (June 24) have cut our buying power in HALF. Its kind of disheartening that we make a combined income of over $200K a year and we'll still be struggling on a 30 year w/ very little money down. The crazy thing is that we're paying $2600 a month in rent with no problem at all. With housing and rent going up year after year, I'd rather be locked into a monthly payment that doesn't change while housing pricing and rent keeps going up and up and up. Is the American dream dead? Perhaps.
No doubt. It’s ugly. But if you can afford a home today, you can refinance when rates drop. It is expected to happen in the next 6-10 monthes
I just built my house didn't have a realitor and I'm pretty confused on what there value would be in a building scenario
Im glad your build job went well. A Realtor can protect you from builder issues. A new home expert is more likely to find builder mistakes. Honestly, it’s a long list.
There is no correct answer. Home prices will keep going up and if you own a home you should keep it. But it also makes no sense financially to buy one right now as the cost one has to pay is too high. The only solution is to just opt out completely.
I agree with you half of the way. If prices are going to keep going up, and you can afford a house, then it definitely makes sense to buy a house now.👍🏼😀
@@TyWilde What does that mean? Anyone can "afford" a house in this market already has a house because they're rich. The point is there isn't anyone except recent lottery winners who can "afford" a house.
@@philliphartman2381 It sure feels like it. But, there are creative ways that I’m helping people purchase homes right now. A lot of sellers are offering to finance homes at a lower rate than what banks are charging. You should speak to a seller finance specialist where you live.

@@philliphartman2381 no doubt higher rates have increased the difficulty. But with my specialty in seller finance has allowed me to do some great things.
