- Mortgage rates continue to climb. Should you buy a house now or should you wait? No one was surprised when the Federal Reserve announced they would hold rates steady. But a lot of people are frustrated and angry. So, I’m NOT going to dive too deep into the “why” of Jerome Powell and the fed's decision. Instead, I will focus on how I can help those of you who are looking to buy or sell a home. I’ll answer the questions, When will mortgage rates start to drop? When should I buy a home? When should I sell my home? Then I’ll share strategies for those who can’t afford to buy a house.

I'm here in Vegas and it's said we are in a seller's market. Prices of homes have gone up significantly in the past 5 yrs, due to Californians moving here (Vegas expansion exploding) and buying up all the homes. Property prices and higher rates making these homes 100k-200k more than a few years ago. I'm wondering if I should buy now because I would be unhappy if I look up 2yrs from now and the prices continue to jump up.
I'm not familiar with the Vegas market, but we are seeing the same thing in Utah. When markets get crazy like this, I do urge caution. Really, with the US Government printing so much money & all the other craziness going on, it's very difficult to predict what will happen next. In Utah, homebuilders are offering some amazing incentives. I'd probably recommend going that route. Best of luck to you.

I saw a video that the government will create securities for refinances starting in June. Until now, they were just buying securities for mortgages. I wonder what something like that will do to the housing market.
I think the Dems are trying to lose this coming election. There's a lot of crazy things happening. But truth is, owning a home provides loads of non-financial advantages. And the sooner you start paying off a house, the quicker you can pay it off.

Isnt there a lack of supply, if that is the case dont you have plenty of buyers (demand) to keep up with the low supply. Im wondering why you even feel the need to make this video.
You might be confused. Low supply + High Demand = Increasing Prices.
Do you understand?
