Approach
-don’t approach attacker with big steps
-come up to them on an angle to “funnel” them where you want them to go
Breakdown
-take tiny steps and don’t let yourself take giant lunges
-stay low
-really easy to beat when taking big steps
Contact
-NEVER extend/straighten out your arms
-stay right on your attackers hip
Drive
-use LEGS to send attacker down sideline
-all power from defense comes from legs
-legs over stick
